I know most people go here for bagels but I tried their breakfast burritos and let me tell you they make them hearty and so delicious. I’m not sure how long this place has been here but I do go for their bagels often. They serve other breakfasts dishes and lunch as well. Now their bagels are very fresh and soft and while many bagels feel dense and heavy, their bagels are very fluffy and airy. They have a wide selection of bagels but if you haven’t tried their other dishes I recommend you start with the burrito.

I went in for my lunch break, first time ever. Wanted to try them right? Walked in and said “I’ve never been here” and the guy says “is that my fault? We’ve been here for 20 years” at which I should have walked out but decided to get a sandwich anyways. I asked if my Philly came with a drink and he said no, but the website said it did. (They should probably update that). So I spent $14 for a sandwich and chips. I was just not happy, sandwich was good but customer service could be better.

Bought assorted bagels for office plus cream cheese. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Everyone loved them. Only negative would be the vegetable cream cheese. There was way too much pepper. *Been to this location in Surprise multiple times (4-5) since moving to the area.
– Orders are wrong every time: usually missing something like an extra egg or sausage patty that we paid for. Or the 2 sandwiches we order are a mix of the order.
– Bagels are amazing, but they are NOT as good as the ones that the location in Glendale has. Surprise location had a lack of toppings, especially on their everything bagels.
– when you order, they physically write the order down, then attempt to put it into the computer. Which, I’m assuming, is why our orders are always wrong.
– The owners have visible confusion when we ask for something and when we ask for a correction say “oh, you wanted that on the sandwich?”
I want to like this location, but it is unorganized and inconsistent, just not all together unlike their sister location which is pure perfection.

Love this bagel shop. Freshly made bagels every day and you can tell they put a lot of love into making their food and taking care of the customers. Always greeted with a smile and very friendly staff!

Hot Bagel and Deli is a weekly ritual in our house. My daughter won’t touch anything but their rainbow bagels, nothing else compares in her world. I’m hooked on the everything bagels with jalapeño cream cheese (made fresh every morning), and don’t even get me started on the bialys with chive-infused cream cheese absolutely perfect.
We buy at least a dozen bagels every week, and it’s not all breakfast. Their chorizo breakfast burrito is loaded, spicy, and hits the spot every time. And the lunch menu? Don’t sleep on it, the Philly cheesesteak is a standout, but honestly, every sandwich we’ve tried has been fantastic.
The staff makes you feel like part of the family, always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Call a day ahead and they’ll even whip up custom orders. Places like this are rare.

Their bagels are great. They are not cheap with the spread unlike the chain bagel place. These are hard working people and the comment about them licking the knife in a past review is just a lie. I think I will go this morning for an onion bagel and chive cream cheese!
