It is a good Japanese restaurant. The tempura was the highlight, I do not a big fan and I really enjoyed this one. It feels very authentic food. They have another few non Japanese dishes. The service was fast. Everything is clean. Plenty of parking

I knew this restaurant was around for a while but this was my 1st visit. I still like to eat in, esp with freshly made food. When i arrived, the first impression was “they have no sit down service”, but there was one couple and some tables were set so thankfully they did. The sign says “restaurant and bar” but the bar is now a storage (hense my first impression). We sat and ordered from a nice waiter who seems not to have gotten word the pandemic is over. Maybe that’s why the restaurant feels unwelcome inside? Anyway, the food was good, from the miso soup to sushi. However the steaming dumplings were a disappointment, i suggest skipping them. In addition, there is no music. One other couple came in (it was a Thursday evening) and i don’t remember the last time i ate in a restaurant where you could hear the refrigerator motors running Anyway, my advise would be: if you are in the mood for Japanese food, order out from this restaurant. The sushi is good, the seaweed salad with avocado was good as well. It’s just this restaurant is simply not inviting to sit in.

Hanami in College Park was our go to for so long, and when they disappeared we were at a loss for a good carryout sushi place close by home. We are thankful to have found Osaka. Great quality for a good price. We have only ordered once so far but look forward to making this place a part of our regular rotation when we need a quick sushi fix and we don’t feel like cooking.

I sometimes go here three or four times a week. I really enjoy their more simple sushi and sashimi options. Some of the elaborate rolls are really great too they’re just not my usual go to and tend to be too filling to allow me to have variety with my meal. I still need to try more of their cooked food options but I heard the Korean options are good too. I do wish they had a few more Sake or beer options perhaps they just aren’t featured on the menu.

This is hands down the best sushi in the area. The taste of everything is just how it should be. I used to come here with my mother when I was younger. I now bring my son who is nine and we enjoy it as well. The staff is friendly food comes out and a great timely manner and it always looks and tastes amazing. This place has been around for years and I hope they stay. If you want authentic sushi this is the place to go plus the prices are not inflated.

On Google, it states that they close at 9 pm. I called at 8:13 pm to place an order, and a gruff man picked up the phone and told me they are closing. I asked how because Google states 9 pm. He said they close at 830 pm, and didn’t even attempt to ask what I wanted. Furthermore, their website states they are open till 930 pm on weekends and kitchen closes at 9 pm so he flat out lied to me, and lost out on a new customer who was willing to place a decent order. This is unacceptable.

We ordered salmon with the teriyaki sauce. It came with rice, salad and soup. It taste amazing and the portions were good.

What a true gem. Lunch menu had a range of sushi dishes as well as noodles and other tasty treats. Service was superb with our waters being filled consistently.
