Food was delicious, I’ve mever had bolivian food before and it was so good. Everything in this restaurant is made fresh at the moment. We ordered soup, tortitas de yuca, empanadas and alfajores and they were freshly cooked and baked for us. Best alfajores I’ve had, they were warm and software, like bitting a cloud. There is a kids menú, that is simple enough for kids but is also real, not from frozen or a box.
Service and atmosphere was excelent too. The owners were so kind and the resturant’s vibes were very chilled, cultural and proudly bolivian.

Manka 2 is a hidden gem for anyone looking for truly authentic Bolivian food. The flavors are outstanding and very well prepared. The salteñas are juicy and full of flavor, and the tucumanas are absolutely delicious. Everything tastes fresh and homemade.

The service is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

If you miss Bolivian food or want to try something traditional and flavorful, Manka 2 is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back

I truly feel bad writing this considering how many good reviews I see here, but I was quite disappointed with my food. I ordered sopa de mani 24oz to-go for lunch – it looked really good based on the menu description and the picture, but not at all what I expected.

The chicken was bland, as if it was boiled in water with no salt and it was giving slightly spoiled smell and taste. I ate it anyways bc I had no other food for lunch and I was hungry (so far so good, I’m not sick). The noodles weren’t actual noodles, but penne pasta which I don’t mind, but they were also bland and overcooked. I didn’t find any potatoes in my soup, maybe they were blended in the broth, who knows. Crispy fries were also not what I expected – they were sliced potato chips. The broth itself was nice and I def enjoyed it, but oh boy was I starving for the rest of the day til dinner time.

Apart from food, my experience was very pleasant, even tho it was just a short visit. The server was polite and the food came out fast. The place looks cosy and authentic – I def want to come again and try other menu items bc based on what other ppl say here it deserves a second chance 🙂

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manka, a fantastic restaurant that specializes in Latin food, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience!

**Sopa de Mani**: The star of the meal was definitely the Sopa de Mani. This traditional Bolivian peanut soup was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Each spoonful was a delightful blend of spices, perfectly complemented by the tender chunk of chicken. It felt like a warm hug in a bowl!

**Charque**: the charque, a deliciously seasoned dried beef that was served with choklo (big a$z corns). Eat it together with the cheese and the hot sauce

**Empanadas**: To top off the meal, we indulged in some empanadas. The tukumana are flaky, golden, and filled with savory goodness. The salteñas are my favorite. Each bite was a perfect blend of crispy and juicy, making them the ideal snack or appetizer.

**Great Service**: The service at Manka was exceptional! The staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve. They took the time to recommend dishes and even shared some insights about the history of the meals we enjoyed.

**The Best Hot Sauce**: And let’s not forget the llawja! This is, without a doubt, the best hot sauce. It has the perfect kick without overpowering the flavors of the dishes. I add it to everything!

Overall, if you’re looking for an authentic taste of Bolivian cuisine, Manka 2 is the place. great service and delicious dishes like sopa de mani, charque, and empanadas, it’s a culinary experience you’d be foolish to miss

Cute, comfortable little diner. The music they played there was cheerful, Andy they have lots of lovely traditional decor. The food was amazing. They also have very fun Bolivian designer items available on the wall.

On a recent road trip through Utah, I stumbled upon this charming Bolivian spot and decided to give it a try since I’d never had Bolivian food before. Wow—what a pleasant surprise! This place stands out completely from the usual Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurants you see everywhere. The flavors are distinctly its own, with fresh, bold ingredients and preparations that feel genuinely homemade.
Everything we ordered tasted like it was made from scratch that day. The salteñas (those juicy, baked empanada-like pastries filled with spiced meat, potatoes, olives, and a savory-sweet broth) were incredible—perfectly flaky on the outside and bursting with flavor inside. We also tried some other dishes, and each one brought something unique: hearty portions, thoughtful seasoning, and none of the generic “south-of-the-border” vibes. It’s clear the owners take real pride in authentic Bolivian cooking.
If you’re in the area and want to try something different and delicious, definitely stop by—you won’t be disappointed. First-time Bolivian eater here, and I’m already planning my next visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking to expand their food horizons in Utah.
