Mom and I stopped here for lunch and the young man, Sean, behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. The starter was egg soup and it was really good! We had the Stir Fried Veggies with Shrimp and Teriyaki Beef & Chicken Combo. We were very pleased and will definitely return!
Dad wanted to check the place out and he enjoyed the lunch very much. He had Vegetable Yakisoba and I had the Beef and Broccoli.

Can’t say enough. Great food. Far batter than the one across the street. They get the details right. They use good meat, you get your sauces in your To go orders. It’s not even close how much better they are than their neighboring competitor.

Small mom and pop style establishment with great food and a cozy atmosphere. The food is made to order with a quick turn around. They also have specials which is a big plus and you can make any of the dishes on there menu spicy by request! They have 3 levels of spicy for those who prefer a little fire 😉

**Modoo Teriyaki: A Flavorful Journey**

Located in the heart of town, Modoo Teriyaki offers a delightful experience blending delicious Asian cuisine with impeccable service and a cozy ambience. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my visit:

**Food: ★★★★★**

1. **Beef Short Ribs:** The star of the meal! Tender, succulent beef short ribs cooked to perfection, bursting with savory teriyaki flavor. Each bite was a delightful mix of sweet and savory notes.

2. **Yakisoba:** A classic dish done right. The yakisoba noodles were well-cooked and tossed with a medley of fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned meat. It had just the right amount of sauce, not too heavy but incredibly tasty.

3. **Gyoza:** The gyoza was a hit! Crispy on the outside, with a juicy and flavorful filling inside. Pairing each bite with a dip in the accompanying sauce elevated the experience.

4. **Thai Tea:** A refreshing companion to the meal. The Thai tea was rich and creamy with a balanced sweetness, served chilled—a perfect complement to the bold flavors of the dishes.

**Service: ★★★★★**

1. **Attentive Staff:** The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to assist with any questions or requests.

2. **Timely Delivery:** Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived promptly. The staff managed the pace of the meal perfectly, ensuring we had a seamless dining experience.

3. **Customization:** They were accommodating with customizations to suit dietary preferences, making the experience personalized and enjoyable.

**Ambience: ★★★★☆**

1. **Cozy Setting:** Modoo Teriyaki boasts a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is simple yet charming, with warm lighting that sets a relaxing mood.

2. **Cleanliness:** The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Tables were neatly set, and the overall environment felt inviting.

3. **Seating:** While the seating was comfortable, it could get a bit crowded during peak hours, impacting the overall ambiance slightly.

In summary, Modoo Teriyaki delivers a fantastic dining experience with its delicious food, impeccable service, and inviting ambience. Whether you’re craving authentic Asian flavors or looking to explore something new, this place won’t disappoint. I look forward to returning to try more of their enticing menu offerings!

SO TASTY. I’m very picky about my gyoza. they were crispy and had a good ratio.
Ordered 1 gyoza plate for about 10$. Received food within 5 minutes. Comes with 2 balls of rice and at least a cup of stir fried/steamed veggies lightly covered in soy sauce.
Its awesome to get cooked veggies on the side instead of a dinky chunky iceberg lettuce side salad that most other teriyaki places serve.
good value.
the bad reviews seem to be about the pad thai.

Been coming here for over 15 years and recently someone decided to water down the salad dressing sauce and stop adding terriyaki sauce to the chicken. It’s a darn shame, this was the best terriyaki in all of Washington. The salad dressing made this place famous. Don’t change something that isn’t broken!
also look at my chicken, it’s never in 15 years looked like this. No char no terriyaki sauce, it’s almost raw.

Worst yakisoba I’ve ever had. The other Modoos are much better. The noodles were dry, smelled funky, and had absolutely no flavor.

Chicken Yakisoba and Egg Rolls are not good. Mall quality noodles. The chicken is not fresh. Egg roll looks like pastry dough from the grocery store. Not homemade or hand made.

Better off going to the mall food court. $24

I used to LOVE Modoo. This place was the best, I would go every week.

But the last couple times I’ve gotten food from there, it has been horrible. Seems pre-packaged, overcooked, flavorless.

I got the chicken pad Thai last time, a few overcooked chicken bits on top of a huge congealed glob of noodles. It was dry and greasy at the same time. This used to be my go to dish, I was very disappointed.

This time I got wonton soup. It is so void of flavor, I’d rather eat my dogs lamb kibble. No longer are the wontons real wontons, but they’re obvisiously previously frozen, with no meat. And who puts canned mushrooms and florets of broccoli in their wonton?!

I’m okay if I never go back.

I tried this place on my birthday today. Ordered the bento box with teriyaki chicken and katsu was delicious. The beef and chicken teriyaki combo too. The tempura shrimp was spot on and the gyozas were tasty. Definitely will be coming back. The price is worth the yuminess and amount! Belly is happy for .
