I had been craving menudo and read some good reviews on the menudo (older reviews). Too bad it was so disappointing. The portion was good, however it was extremely watery with no flavor and it came with flour tortillas with no option to select corn… (I personally don’t know anyone who eats menudo with flour tortillas). The bacon and egg plate was a good portion but again, there was no flavor or spices and there were hard black pieces of something (no idea what), mixed in. The sausage ranchero tacos were just blah. Not sure how this place had any good reviews… it was horrible. Total waste of money.

Texas Plate: Enchiladas disappointed eating here for the first time. They were a little tough and cheese wasn’t melted. Rice and beans were good. Carne guisada was good, sauce was good so the meat was flavorful BUT on the tough side of meat in my opinion.

What a wonderful hidden gem this has become to our family. I used to stop in for tacos all the time. My wife and children have also frequently stopped in after our son’s football games. On this review, I would like to acknowledge employee Emma. We had called to let the restaurant know that our family would be planning a dinner after my sister in laws viewing service. We did wait a little for table service, which is completely understandable as we were about 20 deep. Emma stepped up to the plate and got what we requested from the kitchen and how we would’ve liked it served. Thank you, Emma, for taking good care of us as we are grieving but need to also eat. We will continue to stop in and enjoy more food options off the menu and hopefully get you or at least someone who can do what you provided us with today. Thank you to the staff and the chef who pushed our orders out in a timely manner.

Where do I start?
Pro: the server was fast and friendly.
Cons: $4 puffy taco was the size of a street taco.
Pork chop taco flavor was good, but had jagged bones (pictured) which were painful when bit into.
RR was full of grafitti and a sign asking you to not flush toilet paper, so sure it smells great in there later in the day
In short, not good value for the money, watch out for what may be in your food, and don’t use the RR.
Avoid.

We were pleased with our visit. The prices were reasonable, with one exception. I was charged $6 for rice and beans. I could have ordered another whole breakfast plate for that.
The salsa was delicious, and the corn tortilla were some of the best we have had.
We will return again sans the extra rice and beans next time.

First and foremost, you got to try their chilaquiles. Tacos chips bathed in guajillo chile peppers, which is the right way doing chilaquiles. The flavor is delicious. The waiters are very nice people and will attend you ASAP. I recommend this place.

Francisco was a very unprofessional driver. Met him up front to receive my food and he tells me not to order from the restaurant again because all Home Depot’s are the same. He only waiting for about 2 mins when I was able to respond to his message of arrival. I did DoorDash so he might not be associated with restaurant. The crispy tacos were delicious. It’s just disappointing that my rice and beans were all over my tacos and all inside the bag as well. Not sure who was at fault with my food being everywhere.

We visited Sea World and were very hungry after we left. We were going to stop at a different restaurant nearby, but it was packed and we didn’t want to wait. Tacos El Rodeo De Jalisco had a slightly better rating, so we decided to go check it out. I was nervous because there was only 1 table with people eating. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Service was fast and excellent. The food was excellent. The salsa, beans, rice, tortillas and guacamole were all some of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My daughter ordered a kid’s cheeseburger with fries. I was skeptical because she is a picky eater. Her burger was huge and she ate almost the whole thing. My plate of fajitas was huge! They open early and serve breakfast. The restaurant is very clean. Prices were reasonable. I realized while we were eating that most people get takeout, which explains why there were so few people eating there.

This place has good food but waitresses are expecting a tip and don’t do the work. WORST experience ever will NEVER go back. Highly DONT recommend this place specially if you are in a wheelchair. The pathway to go to the bathroom is full of things all along to go to the bathroom. Needed to move and push things out of the way so my husband can get through to go to the restroom. Sad that it is not handicap friendly at all!!!!!

Every time I order bacon and eggs, I have asked them 2 different time’s to please make my bacon crispy and they never do, I’ve sit down and ate there and also had bad service, so I really don’t go any more unless I’m really hungry and close by but not really because there’s other places close by as well!!!!!
