The price wasn’t bad, around 30$ for a large half pep, half sausage and bell peppers. However the topping and sauce were lacking. It was also extremely salty. The other issue that got it a 2 star was the customer service trying to find how to get the carry out required asking 5 staff members. Will not be coming back.

I honestly had higher hopes for this place. It was the first time I tried it and ordered a large pizza. It ended up being $45 and kinda expected the quality to match the price. Aesthetically the pizza looked great…but upon trying it, they slices were paper thin (even after 5 more mins in the office at my home), the slices still wouldn’t get crispy… usually 2 slices of pizza from anywhere would be filling…but I needed 4 to feel satiated. Stopped by URBN for the first time before a Padres game and quite enjoyed our pizzas. Both the margherita and the gouda/chicken/spinach were fresh and delicious but the texture left a little something to be desired – very floppy.
In terms of other dishes, the caesar salad was truly fantastic, but the brussels sprouts and skillet cookie are missable. The cookie was actually quite disappointing; tasted like store-bought dough and was very overcooked.
Lastly, I’d be remiss not to mention that the prices are brutal – $24 for a small pizza (and it was small) felt pretty outrageous. Two side salads, two pizzas, Brussels, and dessert was $120 with tip.
Regardless, the pizza was definitely good, so could certainly imagine dropping by again the next time we’re in Del Mar!

First off, it’s New Haven style. Tldr: thin crust, less cheese and sauce, toppings your discretion.
Absolutely delicious. Large portions. Not a “California Flat Bread” pizza. We had loaded, custom pies (not cheap). Needed a fork for the center since it’s thin. That’ll be less of an issue if you have left overs. Crust was crispy-charred, not burned. Toppings as requested. Go bonkers if you want.
Service was responsive, cooperative with each other, and friendly. 4 stars because there were slight delays due to demand. It was a holiday weekend. Room for improvement, not a reason to avoid.
Atmosphere is more for sit down dinners including families and they have a pet friendly outisde. Not the best for bar flies. Few TVs and limited seating.

The pizza here is unique. It’s thin and has different flavors to try, we gave the eggplant parmigiana pizza a shot, and it was great! The Italian bean dip was amazing as well. I definitely recommend this for vegetarian options. There’s plenty of parking in a free parking lot.

Hands down, the best pizza I’ve had in a while! The chicken pesto pizza was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors. But what really made the experience stand out was the friendly staff – they were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was also great, cozy and inviting. I picked up a large Chicken Pesto Pizza from Urbn Pizza, and it was honestly one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. Even though I picked it up right after ordering, the pizza was cold and stiff the crust was hard, the toppings didn’t taste fresh, and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. For the price of a large pizza, I expected much better quality. Very disappointing experience. I definitely won’t be going back to Urbn Pizza

We really enjoyed the pizzas! The small size was extremely generous, and we really enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan Pizza and Mashed Potatoes Pizza!! The Italian Bean Dip was pretty good; it tasted pretty much like hummus. There was a lot of dip and definitely not enough bread.
Our server was not very attentive, and we were had to wait many minutes before the server came to receive our orders or give the check.

We visited URBN pizza on January 5th for dinner and although there were only two waiters(who were working as host and bus boy) the service was excellent, super attentive to all the tables that night with a full house and no staff. The pizza was great, a little too thin; but very tasty. I would definitely come back and try it again.
