It may have been an off night for them but it was our first time there. Cheese dip and salsa was good. The bottle of beer tasted off, best before date was January of 2025 and we were there in mid-September. The Carne Asada was overcooked and very salty. The portion looked more appropriate to a lunch menu portion. The beef in the kid’s burrito was also very salty.

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere ding is just because the building is ancient in a small town. The salsa was perfect, with lots of garlic and pepper. I had Jody’s Tacos which was a delicious blend of grilled shrimp with pineapple and other seasonings, and my husband had Mary’s burritos. Happy hour was from 1:00 to 5:00 and on Thursday there is even a better deal on the house margaritas. We will certainly be back!

The food is very good here. The prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. They also have the coldest beer around. I highly recommend Casa Amigos!
