We usually order pizza for pickup, but today we dined in. Loved how attentive and sweet the staff was! The Detroit style pizza was fantastic, as always and we tried a blueberry lemon donut which was by far the best dessert I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely dine in more! Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
*side note, the Mozzarella Sticks are huge, came out hot and were delicious too!

We’ve been going to Pizza Bella for a couple years now and their pizza has always been great. Unfortunately the last time we went, I bit down and hit something that felt really hard inside my pizza, at first I thought it was a bone but when I took a closer look it was a screw. A metal screw had been baked inside the dough of our pizza. Luckily I didn’t break my tooth on it. After this I had to call the pizzeria, I had to wait a couple days until they opened because they don’t have any other contact info besides the restaurant number. Once I got a hold of the manager Liz she seemed very apologetic, told us to send pictures and they would get it figured out. We sent the pictures and heard nothing, so I called again the next week. On this phone call I mentioned that the most reasonable thing would be to get a refund on this pizza since there was a screw in it, this is where she started to insinuate we put the screw in the pizza. She continued talking about how they checked their kitchen and no screws were missing and that they triple check the quality of their pizza. Obviously they don’t check the quality because a metal screw showed up (and it wasn’t from my house because we checked as well – we also didn’t bake the pizza, they did). After this conversation she said this was a complicated issue and she would have to check with the boss regarding a refund. She said she’d call us back, she didn’t so now we’re here. I didn’t want to make a negative review because we’d like to go back and eat there but.. the way this was handled was very disappointing. So if you get a pizza from here, double check that it has no screws in it.

I found the whole experience… fine. Service was largely ok, but for the size of our party, they were not keeping up on refilling the water carafes and occasionally getting other things. The pizza was good but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. They offer several different crust options which is nice. The chicken wings are definitely worth skipping. Wildly overpriced for a very average wing. $77 for one New York style pizza with meatballs and 10 chicken wings (includes tax and top)? Meep meep.

We used Pizza Bella for a Celebration of Life for my late husband. They are outstanding! The food was so good. Liz, Tony and Vinnie and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. I so highly recommend for any event, or just to stop in for their amazing food. I will be back every time I’m in town.

We called ahead and told Tina that we would arrive at 9:15 pm. We asked if the pizzas could be ready and on the table, and she trusted us as we arrived all our 20 guests were very happy. We had 5 speciality pizza, 2 chopped salads and a great time. The New York pizza was very delicious. The crust was perfect. We had 2 sausage and cheese pizzas thin crust with cracker crust with was outstanding. We had one thin crust with beef and gairdinair, it was just as good as eating an Italian beef only better. We also had a cheese and pepperoni, the thin crust was perfect and the pepperoni had the taste of Italy. The service was very good, all the waiters were happy and loved to tend to our every need. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. It’s great for a kid’s party, it’s great for a boys night out, it’s nice to bring my wife here for a salad and a pizza.

You can see the kitchen from the sidewalk large windows. Spotless! The food was great! You get bread and butter while waiting for your food. The service was wonderful.

We use to go to Pizza Bella all the time at their location on NW Hwy. I have definitely noticed a decline since they moved. I have tried them about 5 times since they moved and it’s just a no go. The thin crust pizza is just not good and they no longer make double dough. And you can only get stuffed on one particular night? Prices are also high. I’ll make the drive to Ninos in Buffalo Grove. Always great!

Had dinner with some coworkers and it was awesome. The owner was super chill— but then again, I do know the guy, so maybe he was just trying to make up for the times he’s roasted me . The food was great, the service was spot-on, and the atmosphere was perfect. It’s the kind of place where you can joke around, relax, and make some great memories. Always feels like home (with a little friendly roasts from the boss).

Very good Detroit-style pizza! The buttery crust is spot on as are the rest of the ingredients. They were bit too heavy on the sauce but otherwise they have it down pat. Too bad it is take-out only.
