Stopped in on our way back home. I love that it’s ran by family. The service was excellent everyone was nice & friendly. We could hear the laughter and enjoyment they had while making the food. The food was fresh and amazing. We came on “Pumpkin day” & received a free cookie! On the way out we ordered their specialty drinks which are also 5⭐️ Best Horchata we’ve ever had! Thank you all for the amazing meal.

Stopped in after a recommendation from a local resident. We weren’t disappointed. The food portions were large, there was abundant flavor and the menu prices were about where I’d expect them to be. We would like to come back in the summer and eat on the patio!

The food was phenomenal! This small town restaurant served “Big City” flavor. We tried to order very different from one another so we could taste test. I had the fajita salad and it was great, just like everything else. The staff was very nice and personable, and very patient for us first time customers. The man behind the counter guided us on the menu and did not disappoint. The biggest draw backs was the parking and inside seating. Only a few parking spaces behind the restaurant. Inside seating was cramped, it was too hot that day to eat outside. They made the best of the space as they could.

There are restaurants, and then there are places that feel like home and Abuelo’s Mexican Grill is one of those places. I actually had to drive 30 minutes just to get here because I moved farther away, but today has been one of those hard days where you just need something comforting. And honestly, this food heals the soul. The moment I took my first bite, it reminded me exactly why I’ll always make the drive.
The food is absolutely amazing fresh, authentic, and you can truly taste the love in everything they make. It’s the kind of cooking that doesn’t just fill you up, it makes you feel taken care of.
But what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. It’s not just a restaurant. It feels like walking into a big family gathering where you can catch up, laugh, and feel welcome every single time you walk through the door. Everything about the owners and environment feels so natural, full of heart and genuine.
I’m incredibly grateful this little mom and pop restaurant exists. Places like this are rare, and they deserve all the love and support. If you’re lucky enough to live close by, don’t take it for granted. And if you’re like me and have to drive a little farther now… trust me, it’s worth every minute.

This is a great little spot with a family feel. This diner has indoor and outdoor seating, a drive thru and ice cream!
Get the Cali burrito ! If you don’t know Cali burritos have French fries in them; you better be hungry!
The quesabirra tacos were great as well!!!! I liked the red hot sauce the best!
