Prices on online menu must be from 1972?? What I ordered came to $17.00 according to menu prices online, got there and it was $30.00!!! Unbelievable! For a small child size burger and a burrito, no fries or anything extra $30!!! Do not go by what they have posted under menu prices, call first!

We had a lovely experience! The gentleman that helped us, I believe the owner? – Was fantastic. The tavern was clean and food was phenomenal! We made the right choice to stop in! I got a pulled pork taco and my husband got the chicken wrap.& CANT FORGET the wonderful gizzards. Has the be the best in Michigan!!

We thought we’d check out a different place to eat, so we went to Oak Grove. Our waitress, bless her heart and shame on me for not remembering her name. She was so sweet, so helpful and just a great waitress. She made us feel at home. The food was your average bar food, which we expected. After we were done eating, my husband purchased a few pull-tabs. Just something to do. We had our 5yo with us and she had pulled open a couple of them. It was our understanding that they were not sold to a minor and she was not cashing them in, so no harm. I’m probably wrong and will accept that. However, our waitress was in the middle of politely telling us that we could not let the little one touch them when she was rudely interrupted by who I can only assume is the owner /manager who began to chastise us like teenagers in high school. There were none left to be opened anyway. I get it, their house, their rules and we were “wrong”, but he wasn’t very welcoming and has no business treating customers with such anger and rudeness. Explaining that even touching the pull tabs was not allowed would have been better. The server was polite, it didn’t need to escalate anything past that.

Great laid back easy going country atmosphere. Pull in on your snowmobile, golf cart, etc, car, truck or helicoper its all good! Have fun with fun people and be yourself as you relax in Northern Michigan.

Food is great. Wait staff is nice but short handed so takes a little bit for them to get to you. It’s a dark bar, could use some updates but it’s always busy. Good rock music playing.

I have had a beverage or two in the Oak Grove. Been going there for many years. Kind of like Cheers, everybody knows your name, Family and friends are always welcome, service has always been spot on. I am not a big sports person, but if you are, this is your place.
