I stumbled upon this place and decided to try something new and exciting. The Afghani Soya Chaap and Achari Soya Chaap were absolutely incredible! Despite the slightly longer wait, the flavor and quality were worth every minute. While the pakoras were decent, the Soya Chaap dishes were the clear winners. The rest of the menu looks promising, but I’ll definitely be back to savor those delicious Soya Chaap dishes again. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-try!

The food is here is 100% similar to food we get in India. Their soya chaap is soo good. Both Afghani and Achari soya chaap are delicious.

They also have combos:
1. Rajma combo is good.
2. Paneer lababadar is almost on the spicy side. So if you like spicy food you would love this combo. Comes with 2 roti or paratha.

Service and Atmosphere:
It is very crowded on weekends so if you are planning to go prepare to wait in line to order and then to get the food.

Also there is no queue management you just order and then go to tandoor counter where they will give you the food.

I recently tried Atulya Bharat, the Indian Punjabi food truck, and it was an incredible experience! The Achari chicken was bursting with flavor—perfectly spiced with that signature tangy pickle taste. Their Jalebi was a sweet treat, crispy on the outside and syrupy on the inside, absolutely delicious! I also had the chicken labadar curry and roti combo, which was hearty, comforting, and packed with authentic flavors. Everything was fresh and full of that homemade touch. If you’re craving genuine Punjabi food, Atulya Bharat is a must-visit!

We’re visiting San Jose and came across this food truck all thanks to our Indian food craving. We went by all the reviews and each & every word written here holds true. I’m a North Indian myself and very particular about the taste & flavors when it comes to Indian food. The food at Atulya Bharat is authentic, fresh, tantalizes your taste buds and leaves you wanting for more. The palak pakodi chat was one of my favorites and so was the paneer lababdar. While my husband and son thoroughly enjoyed the Bhuna Gosht & Handi chicken. This is not your regular Indian food that you get here in the states, which is fully loaded with thick gravy and cream. If you want to experience real Indian food, visit this place and you won’t regret it. Each bite took me back home and reminded me of all amazing food my grandmother used to cook.
We live in Seattle where there are so many Indian restaurants, but nothing matches the taste and authenticity of the food served here.

!!!!!They no longer at the previous location!!!!!

They have shifted to a new location in Sunnyvale on El Camino Real.

New address & timings-

1073 E El Camino Real Sunnyvale , from noon to 9 pm every day ( 7 days in a week).

Perfect rainy weather for some Bhuna Ghost & Rajma Masala. So I called & ordered via phone did a quick pickup this location has nice parking spaces since there are so many business around in the area.

As always both the dishes were delectable and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Will go back again for more dishes from their menu.

Yesterday evening we had a carving for good North Indian food specifically Rajma Masala ( Red Kidney Beans curry) so thought of getting a To Go from our favorite food truck & check out if the taste & quality still remains the same …..

As we all know especially with the food truck business it’s a hit or a miss sometimes ….. can’t blame them (business owners/chefs ) given the current scenario of wages , inflation, pandemic etc… it’s difficult for them to sustain & thrive.

We ordered –

Rajma masala – Kidney beans cooked with onions , tomatoes & Garam Masala ( mix of Indian spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, coriander seeds, turmeric, red chilly powder etc…)
As always it was fantastic every bite was delightful very mild in spice level but extremely flavorful that’s how we love it !!!!

Bhuna Ghost – Tender goat morsels prepared in Indian spices .
Again extremely flavorful & tender goat pieces at least 5/6 huge chunks of meats .

We are extremely happy to see the quality & taste remains just the same as we first discovered it few months back.

We have tried almost all the food items from the menu & we loved them all.

Kudos to the chef Atulya for his knowledge of using the correct amount of spice in his food. U can feel the passion, love & commitment through his food.

Will be coming back again very soon. Please do try it & judge for yourself….

In over 25 years I think I have tried more than my share of Indian restaurants in the Bay Area, but this one was surely on top of my list. A Indian food truck with a home cooking twist of flavors and presentation! I must admit I was thoroughly satisfied after eating. Reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking which is hard to match ! The blend of spices was perfect service was superb ! You won’t be disappointed with the food and variety of items on the menu ! Simple but elegant! Home cooking ! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Chef Atulya has done the impossible!! Brought back memories of my trips to North India and savoring dishes cooked at the houses of my friends and family by re-creating those exact flavors and tastes at The Atulya Bharat Food Truck!

Will not be surprised if this turns out to be a destination in itselfin the South Bay!

Kudos to Chef Atulya and his partner Gautam !!! Our only request – DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!!! Perfection needs to be preserved in its pristine form!!

So here is what we ordered:

1. Palak Pakodi Chaat – as appetizer – these were
Spinach fritters with flavor of cardamom seeds,
topped with sweet & sour tamarind sauce, mint
sauce and yogurt. Believe when when you take a
bite, you get a rainbow of flavors and a crunch!!
Some get reminded of some non veg appetizers, tome they were just exquisite!!

2. Rajma Masala as with rice papad, Raita and a sidesalad. Ever heard of low n slow brisket from Tx? Wellthis is the fitting answer to low n slow cooking of vegetarian fare, Delhi style! Red kidney beans are soaked overnight and cooked with onions, tomatoes, and powdered Indian spices, low heat cooking whichimparts perfect aroma and taste to the curry. Theywere served hot with steamed rice and with papad as the perfect complement! This is exactly how Rajmah-Chawal should taste! We savored every morsel!

3-Bhuna Gosht combo with rice and Roti/Paratha
Lean Goat pieces seared in oil and its own juices,
cooked on a low heat with little yoghurt and with
blend of powdered Indian spices. Garnished with
juliennes of Ginger and slit green chillies. The meat was cooked so perfectly, fall-off-the-bone, that we were in raptures with every bite. Tear a piece of Paratha, dip and pick a piece of the meat with its thick sauce with your fingers and place in mouth therein lies heaven!!!

4. Handi Chicken combo with Rice and Roti. This
popular Indian preparation style wherein the chicken is cooked in a traditional method by using a clay pot (Handi). Large Chicken pieces are marinated with blend of select Indian spices, yogurt and ginger garlic paste. Marinated Chicken cooked in ghee, whole spices, tomato and cashew nut paste Garnished with fresh cream – again the flavors were spot-on and reminded us how good this dish can taste when cooked perfectly!!

5. Rasmalai – we ordered this for dessert and we
were not let down. Sweet cottage cheese cakes in
creamy milky syrup. The cheese cakes were just
perfectly portioned and the syrup was not
overwhelmingly sweet!! We all loved it!!

6. Mango Lassi – no added artificial colors, just
perfectly thick made completely of milk, just as as it should be! We sipped out every last drop!

7. Chai – Authentic in taste and exactly how we make it at home when anyone wants to have Masala Chai.

We should be coming back very soon to try the rest of their fare.

You too should try this exquisite food truck. I
promise you will not regret it!! And you will be back for more!

Soya chaap is THE BEST. So flavorful, tender and saucy. I highly recommend this place to soya chaap lovers.
Chicken handi was amazing too. Chicken quantity was good.
