My husband and I visited Finnigan’s Wake for happy hour after a long work week. I was really looking forward to a mojito & the bartender said he had no mint-totally not his fault, this falls on management. We settled on two Moscow Mules that were okay. We sat at a table and sipped on our grown up beverages, I couldn’t help but notice the bartender eating tacos voraciously in between making drinks for the 9 people at the bar-no hand washing, no gloves, no concern for public health. We decided to leave after one drink. Final note, I love good grungy music, but the tempo went from light background noise to a full fledged assault of the auditory senses.

Joe is my favorite bartender ever! As a bartender i know when service is good or not! Joe is the real deal. Even if its busy, he makes time to talk to you and take care of you! He is so good at his job one of the best bartender’s ever! If you come to finns, ask for Joe he will never EVER do you wrong!

Went here for the first time last night, now being from the north east my standard for an Irish pub is pretty high, this place has absolutely the potential to be a great little pub! The food was non existent, all of the pub menu items were out of stock, after speaking to the bar tender she informed me that their deliveries are usually on Wednesdays so they could have just ran out of all the pub grub. I was pretty pumped for a night of trivia with my group only to find out it was a themed night based on the twilight series, which is absolutely fine.. but maybe post that online so people know what they are planning for. Also, the bartender said that they are not doing a shepards pie anymore, this blew my mind, a dish so simple and such a staple for a great pub shouldn’t be discontinued. This is all of course my humble opinion, please don’t take offense and I hope to visit again and give this cool little spot another shot at satisfying my stubborn Yankee opinions

This place had the pub vibe for several years and was sort of authentic but has now changed hands several times. It is now part of a group of bars spaced around the same shopping center so your credit card will show a different name. Kind of running down a bit as the miles are clearly showing.
Staff was nice, small crowd ranged from mid late 20’s to late 30’s but I was there early. While we were seated the bouncer staff arrived (classic black t-shirt attire) and banded us so I assume things would pick up a bit later. Pricing is not posted, there does not seem to be a menu, you just pick from the taps or the wall. I got an Irish Pub staple (Guinness draft) and a top shelf whiskey back. My wife got a pretty nasty (garlic olives) mid-shelf dirty martini. The tab was $39 ($9 was the beer.) Overall, that is not a crazy amount but it is a bit out of line for the area and setting of this bar. I’m not saying I will avoid the place but I am saying I won’t seek it out.

best late night happy hour! Joe treated us so well!!! I love going to Finn’s during the week for their great deals ($3 green teas and $5 Irish car bombs) great bad in midtownn!! 😀
