We have of course had Tender Fire’s delicious pizza out and about in town (we are debatably even more obsessed with their market salads than even the amazing pizza), but my husband and I were lucky enough to hire them to cater our wedding up at Hyde Park Lodge!
They were incredible, all of our guests raved about the pizza and salad, plus Ben and his team were wonderful to work with as a vendor in the chaos that is a diy-wedding day with no on-site kitchen.
Ben was very responsive and helpful leading up to the event, answering all of our questions as we prepared for the day. We couldn’t imagine having worked with any other caterer for our wedding and we would absolutely recommend working with Tender Fire for any private events!

Absolutely delicious pizza. Most recently we had the kale pizza and the pepperoni date one. 15/10 would recommend. Just be sure to get there early because they get busy fast and I don’t know whether they do online orders anymore.

Delicious oven fired pizzas with a very chewy crust. Tucked away in the back of the court — get here early or be prepared for a long wait (but it’ll be worth it)

Perhaps the very best pizza in all of Santa Fe. They are currently offering pizza Thursday-Sat at El Rey Motel. It’s a cool, relaxed scene. Can’t wait to return.

This is delicious pizza. We ordered the pepperoni and the Gosar. Both were equally delicious but the Gosar was the favorite. The crust was amazing. The toppings were fresh. We will definitely eat here again.

Such good pizza! Very unique and creative! Highly recommend! And be adventurous…. nettles or ramps or kale or a cured meat you’ve never heard of… all so good!

Driving up to Aspen Vista Picnic Ground on the morning of 10/6 and we were waiting while a car backed out and as car is reversing, these inconsiderate people in a Tender Fire mobile pizza kitchen trailer zoom past, both in a no passing zone and nearly hitting folks that were backing out, all to get a hundred feet or so ahead because apparently they were in *that much* of a rush to set up. They blocked in cars, didn’t see a permit displayed, took over a large portion of the parking are right in front of the trailhead, so when we finished our hike we then had to weave through a line. I feel like they could have handled this better and more safely in so many ways and in that moment they were really very clearly only thinking of themselves. Not impressed.

Probably wouldn’t visit again. There was a bit of a wait, totally understandable given it’s a small team/oven, but that’s not why I probably wouldn’t return again. While the flavor of the pizza was good, the crust and cook was lackluster. The crust was super doughy like it hadn’t risen enough (maybe the cool day contributed to this?) and it lacked structure in the middle.
