Loved the food, the service, and the place. I was pleasantly surprised to find such delicious and authentic Mexican food in Morganton—it truly reminded me of real, traditional food from Mexico.
We tried the chilaquiles with steak and the picadas with steak as well, and you can tell everything is made fresh to order, not pre-made. The quality really shows.
This will definitely be our go-to spot every time we’re on our way to the mountains. The prices are incredibly affordable compared to other places around, which aren’t nearly as good.
The only suggestion I have is to offer a spicier sauce. The ones they serve are good, but they’re very mild and better suited for people who don’t like spicy food.

Stopped in on our way to the mountains. Morgantown is a small, little cozy retirement town full of mostly outta state boomers The restaurant was great! Many different Latin inspired dishes. The prices are phenomenal, we’re used to Charlotte prices! The food came out good, and they made small alterations for us like! Definitely a good breakfast spot!

Great food and atmosphere. Service was lacking at the beginning and we almost left but it improved throughout our meal so glad we stayed. Amazing coffee, steak was so juicy and flavorful, large portions and great menu options.

My wife and I love the decore and space of this new spot. Food was great . Had the Tosti Ceviche and a fish taco. To drink a large chamango. Will definitely be back with friends. Service was quick and offered with a smile.

Ate dinner. Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Thanks Arturo for a wonderful dining experience! We had the salmon blt and the snapper poboy. Portions were plentiful and taste was great! Going to try breakfast next! Go and eat here!!

Lovely interior, very clean and cozy. My steak taco was phenomenal! Tender steak,fresh crisp veggies and fabulous sauce. Hubby had the BLT with fresh potatoes and loved it. Cannot wait to go back. Very yummy addition to our town.

Rotten veggies, nothing was fresh on my daughter’s plate. She got a fajita quesadilla and the lettuce was old, the cheese was stale and the bell peppers were rotten. I tried calling back to complain and instead of taking accountability they were denial. Oh that is not our restaurant, you must got mixed up our food always fresh. We cut veggies every morning. Not this morning buddy. My daughter and I have stomach aches now. Dirty food. I would not just complain for no reason. I am a very pleasant customer and even tipped the girl good. When we got home, I noticed my daughter hadnt ate her food and she was trying to be nice and not say anything to me about it but I wish she did at the restaurant. I tried her bell peppers and they are ROTTEN. They taste disgusting and old.

A group of 10 of us ate here recently. It was a great experience with an attentive staff and great, fresh and delicious food. The guac was delicious. The portions were generous and prices were reasonable. They also serve their food at the Sidetracked Brewery next door, another great place. We’ll be back!!
