The AYKE is a robust menu, BUT the rolls are nothing but rice! Very little protein, or crab filling. The seared and baked rolls ordered arrived cold.
Since they use so much rice – the rolls are large – biggest of any AYKE sushi…which is not good because they are 80% rice, and you are penalized if you don’t eat the rice!
It is 6:30pm on a Friday and I am the only one here…very telling!!!
They do a lot of take out it seems as drivers were picking up orders; however, It felt like I was sitting in a storage room with all of the containers and random junk surrounding me – so atmosphere felt odd for what seemed to be a pretty space otherwise.
Service was great though!!!

I love this place! Its 40$ for lunch ayce and 45$ for dinner ayce. If you do 3 ayce, the 4th is free. Idk if they are still doing that though.
The sushi quality is pretty decent. The toro and salmon belly is excellent. A lot of their rolls are delicious too. Their rolls with the crayfish is pretty good.
I like that its not too busy here and I can really enjoy my sushi.

My new favorite sushi place! You could taste the quality in all their food. I loved that you had the option of doing all you can eat or just order a la carte. The establishment was very clean and the staff very friendly. They also have their happy hour which is a great bonus. Definitely coming back!

We did the all you can eat, the rolls were very heavy on the rice. Taste was good but it was obvious they were trying to I fill us on rice. The nigiri was the perfect amount of rice though and saved the rating for me. Server was new but did a good job for the most part.

When i went, which was a few months ago they had all you can eat sushi. I took off 1 cause they removed the “all you can eat” sushi feature. I do love their fish selections. I’m a sucker for yummy fresh fish. Raw and unfiltered fish is the best! I like bottomless no rice rolls & sashimi. Blue Fin Tuna is probably my most fave in the selection. Soooo good!

What happen to Sakura!
Been coming to Sakura since they opened their doors. Quality and portion was amazing. The taste keeps bring us back. But the past two years hasn’t been the same. We order the same sushi every time.
Sakura, Crunchy rolls, Akura and Baby lobster. That is the reason we right away noticed. The quality, presentation, taste, and ingredients went down hill. The price went up and so as the portion became smaller. Still we continued to come. But today just decided no more. Its reaching us almost $100 for 5 orders and quality is treible today. I know a sick fish when I smell it. Baby lobster missing main ingredients. Good bye Sakura =(

The sushi was amazing. Chief really knew what he was doing. Every piece was delicate to taste and wonderfully made. The server were very nice and attentive. Overall amazing experience rivaling some of the high end sushi joints in San Deigo
