We have heard great things about this place and it did not disappoint. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was crispy and done to perfection. We had the Hell Raiser, sausage and hog wild. My favorite was the hell raiser, but they were all yummy. If you are in the area, don’t hesitate to stop and try the Detroit style pizza.

Love me some Pizza Pushers! When we’re in the mood for Detroit Style pizza (and I don’t mean Little Caesars), we treat ourselves to some PP. The menu is small, presumably because they focus their efforts on really good pizza. The pizzas themselves aren’t big, but they are plenty flavorful and for me at least, filling. Most recently we had the Hog Wild (pictured) without banana peppers, and the cheese bread sticks (also pictured), which feels like a newer add to the menu? I love having bread as a side to my bread, so this was a win, too — it comes with both vodka sauce and the pizza sauce. Mmm! Will keep coming as long as they keep pushing pizza.

Third time having their pizza and won’t be the last, it’s a bit far from home but worth it. One of the best pizza places I have ever had. Detroit style pizza that won’t disappoint. We usually get the Winston and the Hell raiser and both are delicious, the crust is a little crispy but perfectly cooked. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

I ordered Pizza Pushers on a whim one night, having found them when searching for pizza near Lake In The Hills. The reviews and photos convinced me to call. When I arrived, it was just before my order was ready. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and offered their recommendation for taking the pizza home uncut. (They advised the closest thing to getting to eat it in the restaurant would be to pop it in the oven for a bit, then cut it just before eating.)
The photo I’ve attached shows the “small” cheese pizza — absolutely decadent — just after reheating in my commercial oven (frankly, I would have preferred being able to pop into a regular oven at home, but…) Though I’m sure it’s even better eating right away, it was truly delicious. The crust is flavorful, with just the right softness in the center contrasted with a satisfying crunch on the edges. Their sauce is tomato-forward — not overwhelmed by or leaning on inauthentic seasoning. And though I can always load up on cheese and would have taken more, what was used had the right balance against the sauce and crust.
If you’re not into Detroit-style pizza, you may not gravitate toward this. But if you’re down with the Motor City style, absolutely give these folks a call. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this place is great. From the lady taking the orders over the phone. To being welcomed in when you pick up your pizzas. The pizza is delicious and I’m looking forward to telling more people about this place. Along with ordering pizza again.

Hands down best Detroit style pizza I ever had. Crust is amazing. Crispy yet full of texture and flavor. So good you don’t even need parmesan cheese. Highly recommend in my eyes.

The pizza here is out of this world delicious! Everything from the crust to the sauce and cheese were so fresh and mouthwatering delicious. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant gets a 5 star for good energy and friendly atmosphere.

We ordered a large half sausage and half cheese at 8:03pm. They told us they had no large dough so they could compensate with two regulars. They told us 35-40 minutes. At 8:40pm they were calling asking why we weren’t there yet. When we got there At 8:45 they asked if we wanted the pizza cold or warmed up. As a Chicagoan who orders pizza 2-4 times a week, I didn’t know what to say. It was cold and we had to heat it up at home. Then they told me it was over $40. I mentioned that they said it would be two regulars for the price of a large and a lady yelled out from the back that I didn’t order the same topping on the whole pizza (half cheese?) so I had to pay full price. The owner then lowered the price to the regular cost of a large after intervening with the employee. When we got home, we had to to start up our oven to warm up pizza. Honestly, it was very tasty pizza (the sausage was great) but disappointed in the service and communication. Not what we expected when we paid to order out.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while because the reviews were so good and we love Detroit style pizza. We finally got carryout today and it looks nothing like the pictures online. It’s basically bread with little to no sauce and barely any cheese. We ordered on a Saturday right when they opened at 3:30. They weren’t busy at the time. For $47 for 2 small pizzas we are really disappointed.

First time picking up a Detroit style pizza at Pizza Pushers after hearing good things about it. Did not disappoint, great flavor with crispy cheese on all edges and we really enjoyed it! They only have one size which is around 8″x10″ so be prepared to order more than one if you have hungry hungry kids! We’ll definitely try some of their other specialty pizzas since we had 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni as our first try. Staff is friendly and there is an option to dine in with several booths. 5 stars!
