Phenomenal food. Actually spicy salsas (10/10 if you’re American and 6/10 spicy if you’re Mexican like me lol) but really delicious. Amazing sopita, excellent drinks that are freshly made (along with everything else), and delicious food. We got an order of quesabirria tacos and camarones à la diabla, and both were so flavorful. Fantastic place and would absolutely visit again! Thank you so much for an incredible lunch!

To start off, if you’re hispanic(Mexican/roots), don’t waste your time, but if you’re white you’ll get priority. Eww.
Chips were fresh, but unsalted, not too bad(there was no salt at the table). The “salsa” for it straight up tomato juice and nothing else. Food was not authentic or well seasoned…which makes complete “sense” but, you shouldn’t advertise one thing and change everything to adjust it to others.
Recommend going to a the Schaumburg location 100% if you want authentic food.
Not all of our order was put in so we had to wait longer. That’s fine, things happen, I myself work in the industry.
To top it all off, the waiter was friendly BUT kept interrupting OUR order taking to chit-chat w a table(*) next to us…..very rude.

The best I’ve had. I eat super plain and had the carne cilantro onion tacos with a bit of mild salsa, simple perfection. I was surprised how tender and well cooked the steak was,, as the last 50 latino/mexican restaurants I hated eating the same exact thing. Cheers to Hugo as well for being a fantastic server. It meant a lot to me how well you took care of us and provided familial hospitality. Muchas gracias!

I like this restaurant but the last 2 times I went the service could have been better. Both times I waited 15 to 20 minutes and there was not a big crowd only a few people. I am thinking about not going back because the service was not good. When I go to a restaurant I want the full package. Good food, service and atmosphere.

The service was very kind and also speak Spanish. Food was well served. The grilled salmon excellent!. Also they served a small soup as optional courtesy at begining. The menudo was good as well. Salad with grilled chicken big enough. Fress tortillas made at the moment. Definitely Mexican food made with tasty ingredients. They also have horchata and Jamaica flavored water. Definitely will come back!

Great atmosphere from walking in and being greeted to leaving. The bartender served our food. He could not have been nicer! Chips and salsa were wonderful. The chips come out warm. Had steak and vegetable tacos! We will go back!

Had the chance to try the Al Pastor tacos at La Hacienda de Los Fernandez, and I’ve got to say, they’re pretty darn good. The meat was cooked just right and seasoned well. They were also generous with the toppings, although maybe a bit too heavy on the cilantro for my taste. The red salsa that came on the side had the perfect heat level, complementing the tacos well.
The meal also came with a side of beans and rice, and a slice of lime to zest things up. All were tasty and rounded out the meal. However, the price was a bit steep, especially when compared to Tacos El Norte where I can get six equally good tacos for the same price. Overall, definitely worth trying but a bit on the pricier side. 4/5 stars!

Chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas were great! Chorizo queso was delicious. Fast service, fresh and hot food. Plenty of chips and margaritas were tasty! First time here and I really enjoyed it! No photos because we were starving!

Food, Ambiance and Servers are all fantastic. Everything is fresh tasting, complimentary salsa and chips are great. Good amount options for a vegeterian. We ordered chimichanga in veggie filling as option, cheese enchiladas. Everything was done right and tasted well. Our server was really friendly and made sure we were attended for all the times. For Desert we ordered Tres Leches, it was pretty tasty, little more sweet than we like, but we dont have that sweet tooth. Good option for dinner night out over the weekend
