A well-worn café located in an equally well-worn shopping center. It all looks like circa 60’s or 70’s. Just like the diner’s ambiance, most of the patrons are vintage. The food is very good. The service decent. My standard breakfast, cooked as ordered and delivered promptly. My wife had two big light fluffy pancakes, (check the pictures). Another great place for breakfast in Muskogee.

Stopped in on a Saturday around 11:30 after seeing them on the News for Lunch on a Budget. No one greeted us and no indication to seat yourself or wait, so we found a table and sat down. We waited long enough that I was ready to leave when a nice server asked if we had been helped (about 15 minutes). She brought us menus and drinks and then took our order. I mentioned it was pretty busy and she said they were coming out of the busy side of the morning, so I thought that might be promising. My salad came out after about 20 minutes with an unopened bottle of salad dressing. We had to use our silverware to get the thing opened. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. I overheard the next table say “they must have a new cook”. I did see a large number of “to-go” orders going out the door while we waited for our food. My husband’s breakfast of scrambled eggs and French toast were room temperature at best, the bacon was very tasty though. My chicken fried steak was a chewy hockey puck that shrank up inside the breading so when I cut into it, half of it was empty. The green beans were canned that had not been rinsed of the canned taste and no additives like onion, bacon, butter or something to season them. The mashed potatoes, however, were delicious and tasted like they were made from scratch and the gravy was also delicious. Bottom line, we might try again, but it will be a while.

We ordered the Big Breakfast, which is Big, bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties and ham. We also had the roast beast ( reference the grinch stole Christmas) sandwich and long crinkle cut fries. Longest crinkle cuts I’ve ever seen. Bet you won’t finish it all. The service is impeccable!

A great little place tucked away in the Lakeland shopping center. Today’s Special was Indian tacos. I just so happened to get the last one at 11:30 a.m. The restaurant was full. I noticed a lot of breakfast items on the tables. The price point was excellent. I will be going back there for sure. I have heard lots of great feedback from locals. Get there early .

When you walk into a breakfast place and it’s all old timers, you know it’s gonna be great. And it was. Next time we come here, this is our go-to place for breakfast. Just wish there was a place like this in Cheyenne.

Building is old, but the breakfast food is excellent, and the service is always fast and friendly. I have never eaten lunch there but I imagine it’s good too.
