Best burger in Charlotte Hall, easily. The meat was fresh and seemingly hand prepared. Not pre-made “bubba burger” trash. The buns were fantastic. Soft, tasty, and kept the burger together. Good veggies and the homemade sauce was really good. The upgraded seasoned fries were also extremely good and worth the $2.50. No complaints about the food whatsoever.
Just note they share the space with the breakfast place that took over from that taco joint that was there. You “can” eat inside, but its VERY small. It’s a take out place for sure.

A real person and true foodie here. These are the ABSOLUTE BEST BURGER around hands down!! I’ve had “Uncle Buns Burger”, “The Down Time Bite” and “Steak and Cheese”. Let me tell you they were all great and the quality has been consistent when I’ve had these sandwiches on different occasion. I’ve also had the Honey Ginger Garlic, DC Mambo and the Lemon Pepper Wings, they were all good each time I’ve gotten them. I’ve referred this place to multiple folks, and no one was disappointed. I’ve talked to the owner, and they are making the patties from fresh ground beef, you can taste the quality. I like to support local business, and this place gives me even more of a reason to do so. They are a small place with a small staff so be patient, you can’t rush greatness and it’s worth the wait!!

I learned of this place about a week ago and finally gave it a try. I ordered ahead online as I’ve heard it takes a while to receive your food. It was a good thing as there several people waiting inside already. I was able to go in, grab my order and get out. There is a table inside but it’s pretty tight so I wouldn’t recommend sitting in to eat.
I got the Make Me Famous burger and the Gun Powder fries. The burger was a double patty smash burger and it tasted really good. The toppings were great, the caramelized onions and mushrooms stood out and bacon was crunchy enough. Didn’t taste jalapeño at all. The fries were good with the seasoning and there was extra seasoning under the fries.
I also got the Arnold Palmer which is a mix of ginger lemonade and cardamom sweet tea. It was an interesting flavor that I liked and was just satisfying enough with each sip to not drink it all at once.
They open each day at 1pm. Kinda odd time to open. Wish it opened at a normal lunch time. Made me even more hungry waiting to go to eat.
It’s not cheap to eat but it is filling. $22.6 for burger, fries, and drink. It is a double burger at least. The extra $2.5 for spicy fries that only cost $1 more if ordered as a side by itself seems ridiculous. Plus it says $2 extra on the menu but you get charged more when you order. I’ll just get regular next time.
This place probably rivals a five guys but less fries. I definitely recommend it but perhaps as a treat.

Just tried the original burger and was honestly super impressed! Great flavor and fresh. Loved the fries too. Portion was pretty generous. I’m already thinking about when to try another burger…taste left me full and wanting more again! Hope this local spot makes it—buy local, it matters!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried at Uncle Buns! Between us, we were able to try their burgers, steak and cheese, and their chicken sandwich and all were exceptional. The staff was friendly and really provided the “down home” feel you hope for when going to a local restaurant. We had been seeing great reviews from the Golden Beach community and we can now confirm that the reviews are well deserved. Do yourself a favor and grab some of this delicious local food!

My grandma and I decided to try this place out for lunch today, and it was absolutely fantastic! she got her own custom burger with 2 patties and everything on it except for ketchup and tomatoes, with onion rings on the side, and I got the Big Boy with their normal fries and an Arnold Palmer to drink. After a short wait of about 15 minutes, we took the food home, and everything was phenomenal. I can’t speak for her burger, but she was praising it the whole time, as I was mine. I did, however, steal an onion ring from her, and it surprised me that it wasn’t soggy from sitting in a box for the 15-20 minute drive it took us to get home. My fries weren’t the crispiest, but the seasoning made up for it. 10/10 local restaurant, I will be going again, even if it’s just ordering delivery.

We were excited to try but unfortunately my burger arrived raw and inedible. My husband had a good experience with his but I was unable to even eat mine due to being extremely uncooked. Wings were okay! Nice flavor but texture lacked I’m sure because it was delivery. Wishing them much success moving forward.

One of the best burgers in Town!! We tried DAMM GOOD chicken burger was so juicy and Delectable.Also wife tried Honey ginger garlic chicken wings that was excellent too and expertly Prepared. We cannot wait to go back and try more of their burgers.Loved it!!!
