First of all, I was left speechless at how wonderful both the food and the service were here late-night. To my surprise, the old-fashioned was actually made with tequila and it wasn’t bad at all. I was skeptical at first, but the server made me feel like it was a safe choice and she was absolutely right.
I can’t say enough good things about the Al Pastor tacos, and luckily, I was with some friends that wanted to share their meals with me, and I got the pleasure of trying their Birria Tacos and the Pittsburgh burrito, which were equally as delicious. The esquite was a great app too.
The Al Pastor takes the cake though 😉 I’d eat this every day if I could.
The FLAN was also a hit. I don’t even think I got a picture of it because it was so good. Home made too. Love it. Will be back asap.

I don’t care for most of the typical Mexican restaurants in our area, but this place was great! I will return.
The outside doesn’t match the inside and its vibe. Cool place, good food. Would be a perfect date night spot, too.

Went here for dinner Friday night and it was clean and nicely decorated. Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Food came quickly and we all liked our dishes. However, my husband was uncomfortably spiced out by the unexpected amount of heat provided by his shrimp tacos. He said it was good just way too spicy. I did check what he ordered to see if there some kind of incognito warning next to the dish he chose, but nope. no little hot pepper emblem, skull or flames.

Top tier tex mex for the Pittsburgh area giving everyone a run for their money. Their quesadillas are phenomenal. Their burritos are huge. The street corn is addictive. The soft shell tacos are done right. The only thing I can’t comment on is the alcohol and the dessert, and some day I hope to change that.

The food was pretty good but that’s where the good stopped. The service both times we have visited was pretty bad. The waitress spilled the nachos all over herself but instead of remaking them and cleaning up the mess, still served them to us. Then her coworker slipped on the mess by our table. She then also spilled our side of rice all over the table and wouldn’t prepare us another or clean it up. Maybe the wait staff shouldn’t have nails so long they cannot handle the food… The second visit the waiter wouldn’t take our orders or would take one persons order and not return to take another order for 5+ minutes. It was a very strange experience. The food is also a bit expensive for what you get. All in all we all just expected a bit more in all aspects. The street corn was served with a pool of water at the bottom which was pretty unappealing.

Food and atmosphere was amazing! Unfortunately the past two times we had the same waitress (older white lady) and the service was terrible.
She was very rude and never came to check on us and was really pushy about the check.
The younger white girl and the Hispanic staff are great, but that lady makes us not want to return.

Restaurant was clean & spotless. We came in for lunch and were immediately greeted & sat. Food came out fast & very hot! The chicken fajita quesadilla was massive, came out with beans & rice. Super delicious & hot. Steak burrito was hot & very big. Could’ve been a bit bigger but made up for it with the large portion of steak. Overall great experience & will be back!

Went back on a Monday night, it was busy which is a good sign in itself! Our server was top notch!
The Birria tacos and ramen are by far my favorite followed by the fish taco and chorizo!
Beware the pickled onions if you’re sensitive the heat! I learned the hard way (in a good way)!

Love this place! Everything is top notch. I’ve had their seviche, the tostadas, tacos, and enchiladas over the last few years, and consistently been pleased. Service is attentive without being a bother, just lovely. Try it, you’ll like it!
