WOW. I am so impressed with this gem right outside Atlanta! I came here because the reviews were so good and i wanted to see what the hype was about and they did not disappoint! Auntie in the front was so welcoming and sweet. Her energy was like a hug. She was very accommodating and explained the dishes and gave her recommendations since this was my first time having Kenyan food. The wait was tad bit long but so worth it. This food was made with LOVE yall! This is my new spot. Hands down some of the best food i have had in so long. You can tell they actually care about their food and prepare it with care. If you are wondering whether you should try this place, just check it out. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first time trying Kenyan food. Lucy (the chef) was so kind and inviting. She shared great recommendations for foods to try on our first visit. Our food was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious!

We had such a great experience at this Kenyan restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and served hot, straight from the kitchen, which made everything taste fresh and flavorful. You can really tell care goes into every dish. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely make an effort to ensure every customer is happy with both the food and the service. Solid Food! Very Fresh! Wonderful Chargrilled flavor on the Protein! Fist time having Kenyan food and i asked the gentleman at the counter what he recommended. Do yourself a favor and ask him for a side of sauce. I have no idea what he gave me but one was a spicy paste and the other one was a sweet salsa that made it all taste amazing. The food is light and fresh and healthy! Solid spot! Some of the best Samosas ive ever had!

I have spent a lot of time in Kenya over the years and fallen in love with the country and their food. The food and atmosphere at Jambo Grill is authentic and amazing. It is as if I was in Kenya again. The smells, the taste, the people all remind me of East Africa. The samosas were cooked perfectly. The rice was very tasty. Everything we had at our table looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. The restaurant was very clean.
If you have never experienced Kenyan food, give it a try. The staff speak English and the menu has pictures if you are not familiar with the cuisine. Kenyan food is well seasoned, but not too spicy. The restaurant is a fast casual concept where you order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you. It creates a laid back atmosphere. If you are anxious about trying new cuisines from different cultures, they have set up this restaurant to make it easy for you. Stop in and give it a try.

Amazing food! Everything was delicious, and I especially loved Lucy’s homemade chili sauce. The owners, Lucy and Sam, were so lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them about Kenya and can’t wait to come back!
