It’s a beautiful English tearoom experience, but be sure to plan at least two hours. Reservations are highly recommended and they are only open in the morning and early afternoon. I had the scone with cream and jam with an Americano. Delicious! My husband had the chicken and apple sandwich with black tea. He loved it. The atmosphere is very laid back, and the staff is friendly. It’s a fabulous experience, but don’t be in a rush. This is a relaxing, English experience! Enjoy!

A truly charming spot with outstanding service and the warmest staff! Every dish we tried was delicious—from the flavorful pumpkin butternut squash special soup to the hearty clam chowder, chicken pasty, and classic bangers and mash. The Paris tea was delightful, and the sticky toffee pudding cake was hands down the best I’ve ever had—worth coming back for seconds alone! We’ll definitely be returning soon.

This was the most unique restaurant I’ve ever been to. The owner test and her helper Sylvia were incredibly attentive. They even gave us hats to wear while we drank our tea, and the food was more than excellent. It is a must stop when you are in Florence.

Wow what a place. The tea is fantastic and the tea service is lovely. It’s such a great get together and I love the atmosphere. Goodies that you can’t get anywhere else. So many teas to choose from and the treats and scones are just as good. The new owner Tess is wonderful! Trudy is so kind and let’s just say it here first. They’re doing seafood boils on the weekend! They are beyond good and really something you should jump on while they have it. Tess provides a really fun atmosphere and you’ll be laughing that’s for sure. I highly recommend checking this place out and also she’s done a wonderful job adding some extra UMPH to this place!

We loved our trip to LoveJoys last summer. I promised to write this review and so I’m keeping it now, albeit a bit late! What started as a request for a cup of tea ended in the proprietress giving our children a sample of every tea cake she sold and truly keeping us riotously laughing the whole time.
She is brash and bold and unapologetic and 100% the reason 90% of her customers were in that day. Say what you want about the contrast of a Cajun fish boil sign on the sidewalk and the teacups on the inside, but…
We left with a new favorite tea and also feeling like we’d been taken through a few comedy shows on the BBC. It was a delicious riot, just like its owner.
Thank you for the best time!!

Fun! Our return visit was as delightful as our first. I my homemade currant scone with clotted cream and lemon curd. The tea list is extensive and they serve coffee. My husband enjoyed his decadent chocolate cake, therefore, it was truly a love-joy encounter. All the visitors appeared to be happily engaged in table conversation with rare exception to those on their phones.

A true diamond place. It feels like you’ve stepped into a British tearoom. I was a little worried when I saw that a couple high schoolers were running the place. But was not disappointed by the tea, the presentation, and my delicious scone complete with jam and clotted cream. I got a good 4.5 cups out of my small pot of darjeeling. Relaxed here for about an hour with my delicious tea. I’m surprised I was the only one there for most of the time. You should definitely stop by here if you visit Florence!
