The view is incredible but the food isn’t. The presentation was nice but execution not so much. The drinks, bread, clam chowder and steaks were all very average and pricey. This is their upscale restaurant, it needs improvement. All the food and drinks we had at Turtle bay was below average or average with the exception of ordering off the breakfast menu, it was very good.

If you like to spend your evening in your chair while waiting on your food to arrive, then Pa’akai is the place for you. I ordered the Ono Knife Burger, which was really really good—tasty on every level (hence 1/2 stars given). The fries were quality but cold, and that is the story of everyone else’s dishes in our party. My brothers’ steaks were good but both came out cold, along with their shrimp. My wife’s well-done steak came out medium-rare.
The service was lack-luster, we consistently were waiting on our refills. However, Mike our server was outstanding despite the troubles. He was on the ball and did his best to ensure our evening was enjoyable. Props to Mike! Thank you!!

Such a memorable meal! Our only regret was going here on the second last night of our trip, the restaurant was closed the next night or we would have gone again. My husband and I stayed at turtle bay for a week and ate at all of the restaurants and this was our favorite by far.
Everything from the view of the surfers outside during sunset to the bread to the presentation and service paired with amazing food made this so wonderful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and ,y husband ordered the surf and turf. Everything was exceptional. I had the crème brule for dessert which doesn’t look pretty in the picture as the coconut it was served in was dark but it was super tasty too. We can’t wait to hopefully come back one day.

Wonderful view, service, and above all dining experience! Cocktails were delicious, not like other places that serve sub-par drinks. Dinner was cooked perfectly dessert was great! Would certainly recommend and definitely will return!

Started out with a perfectly-balanced mai tai and hamachi crudo. The hamachi was served in a truffled ponzu that was delicate and nuanced. For my main, enjoyed the filet and lobster. Filet served with 4 gourmet salt selections ranging from white to black and was flavorful and tender. Lobster was perfectly cooked, moist and succulent. Went quite well with a Cline Zin. Lava cake dessert was surprisingly light – just right. Add the magnificent view, and the place is a clear winner. Fine value for the money.

Very good seafood dishes. The baked oysters welldone are packed with flavour, the tuna tataki taste clean and juicy, the salmon and fish with crabmeat atop entres are tender and fresh. It’s not expected to find a hotel restaurant with supeb food.

This place is located in turtle bay… little nice outdoor eatery… I tried Kim chi bbq taco… and maitai…. of course being part of the resort… maitai was little more on the pricey side…. 4 maitai cost me whoopin $64 without the tip…. but for sure you will get to enjoy the surfers hitting some high waves…

The Pan Chicken was the best I’ve ever had, service was amazing when thought we did not have a reservation, many wine selection. In Oahu, stop by, golfing or not.

You get a great view of the ocean here, the menu is sparse but carefully chosen and the dishes were all prepared to perfection. The market fish was surprising good with a macadamia nut crust over greens and with garlic mashed. The filet prohibitively pricey but as good as it gets. Actually there was both quality and a goodly amount of food to satiate the appetite. Luckily it was on a business expense otherwise I’d never have wasted the money if you want the truth

Disappointing. We had the char grilled oysters which were tasteless and the consistency of mush. The market fish was okay…not fantastic…for the price of $56. My husband had the rib eye steak which was okay for $55…for the steak only…a side of vegetable and potato was an additional $25. Price would not have been an issue if the food and service had been outstanding…which it wasn’t.
