A Must-Try Mexican Spot!
If you’re craving authentic Mexican food that hits the soul, El Manjar Mexican Grill is the place. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in warm hospitality. The flavors here are next level. I highly recommend the Torre de Mariscos. Their homemade salsas? Fire. And don’t even get me started on the drinks. They have a variety of margaritas and cocktails.
It’s cozy, affordable, and full of heart. Whether you’re Mexican and missing the taste of home, or just a foodie looking for the real deal. This place will not disappoint. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
The service definitely needs to be better! We arrived and asked if they had a high chair for our toddler and the waitress was said, “I’m not sure we have those.” They ended up having one, so that was good! We then placed our drink order – 1 Cazuela and 2 waters. She brought out two Cazuelas and no water… When we began to place out food order it was just weird. Im not sure if the waitress was new or incompetent but we asked for a kids marinara pasta and she said “I dont think we have that!”, then we asked for a fruit cup, which was on the menu, and she told us, “Yea we dont have fruit cups here” I pointed out the two options in the menu for her and she said “OK, I’ll check in the back and see what they can do…” …????? She comes out with all our food and puts an adult sized plate of Chicken Parm infront of my toddler LOL i just laughed because it was just ridiculous. She was kind and we didnt get charged for the adult size meals for our toddler but boy it was back and forth double checking if she understood us. I even made sure to speak Spanish after I realized maybe she had a hard time understanding English.
The owner came out and asked us how everything was and we appreciated that check in from him – didn’t ask for him but that was nice.
There is potential here.
There just needs to be better cooks, way better waitresses, and well the atmosphere is its own thing bc its a nightclub lol
Steaks are amazing! …
