I gave this establishment a four-star because one did not follow instructions. I’m glad I’m not allergic to mushrooms because I would have been pissed to have to throw away some food I was too far away to drive back I also had did some running around before going home to eat. But other than that the food was very flavorful it was not dry everything tasted very fresh. Don’t be alarmed when you go in there kind of looks like a little Warehouse type ordeal put to my eyes everything was clean and then order no funny smells or anything. I appreciate the service but I’m pissed that there was mushrooms when I asked for no mushrooms. The sushi roll was different it was good but it was just different I think I was sick to my regular place I get sushi from. But I appreciate their service.

I have been wanting to try this place for a few months, and we finally did. Very good food! The inside of the restaurant is closed, so they put up this odd window to order through at the front door. They could easily just let people still walk in to order, and just put the chairs away so people don’t sit ‍♀️
But the food was really good. I got a shrimp tempura roll & volcano roll. Both were very good! And my husband got the steak and shrimp hibachi. His food was also very good, and he had leftovers. I just wish sushi places gave 8 pieces in their rolls. When it’s 6 pieces I feel like that’s small. But either way, all of the food was great!

This is my first time eating at Volcano. I ate there with
my daughter and two grandchildren, today, 10/05/25, we ate lunch. I had the 3 sushi rolls, the rolls were good not excellent. I ordered miso soup as well, it was served warm, not hot. Just a Luke warm soup. My issue was not the food but the cold, disrespectful, and the lack of customer service. As my family and I entered we were greeted by the coldest, and almost non verbal Asian female. She looked at my daughter as if she was irritating her when my daughter asked, if the dining area was available, given her experience prior, a time when dining in was not an option. Her service was the worst. She took our order, gave us our food one ready dish at a time did not smile didn’t talk, didn’t follow up if our food was OK. Then, after giving us our food one ready dish at a time she basically tossed the plastic utensils on the table. This host/waitress made us feel unwanted, probably because we are brown. My daughter talked to her after in private to bring to her attention her rudeness and her overall disrespectful demeanor. According, to my daughter all she said was”I knuw.” Lastly, The restaurant itself lacks personality, joyful energy and good vibes. We ate there today, 10/05/25 at lunch time

First time there. I think this place does mostly take-out, which is good because the inside was nothing to look at! Also, they were out of many of the items on the menu.

Came in for a quick bite. The food was good but the service wasn’t the best. It’s a good option for sushi.

Went in with my aunt to try this restaurant. We received coupons in the mail stating $5 off if spending more then $25 or 15% total purchase. The staff said the only way you can use the coupons is if they raise the price of the food so that they wouldn’t loose money. Wouldnt recommend this to anyone since they are dishonest in practice.

The only reason I bothered giving this place two Stars was because the Tempura wasn’t bad and the unagi was decent, besides that I would not recommend this place.
All the rolls they made were weak and fell apart as soon as you picked them up or stuck to the roll next to it like glue, not to mention they were all BLAND!!!?
No flavor at all, Godzilla roll is a joke as well as the three others we tried.
Oh and even if you get a sushi set they do not include salad or soup like every other sushi joint on earth, you pay for and order each separately.

Decent food. Do not go there with high customer service expectations. The interior could use some cleanup. Also, please don’t be eating right next to your customers table.
Our appetizer was brought to the table after we were halfway done with main meal. ‍♂️

Great tasting food, really large portions for the price. Ginger salad dressing was a little disappointing – seemed to be missing something in its flavor – maybe more peanut oil or sesame oil or soy sauce? But hibachi chicken and veggies are delicious. Simple fried rice is good – added some teriyaki sauce to give it some more flavor. Forgot to get pic of gyoza, but they are pretty good but a bit pricy.

In one word: Odd! Fountain machines are in the back of the restaurant and give the perception of “self-serve”, but it isn’t self-serve. Alternatively, there’s a refrigerator with bottled drinks. Service is decent, food is also adequate… just nothing to write home about. However, food is served in to-go boxes when dining in!!!! Also, only plasticware is handed out. Lastly, fountain drinks taste like at least 30% chlorine, which isn’t uncommon in the US, but still disgusting and has no place in 2018. Get a water filter!!
