I thought of the Frosty King in the town I grew up that served the pastrami subs. So delicious!! So I saw this place as I’m here waiting for my truck to get loaded.
Not even close!!
This is nothing more than a subway shop with processed meats galore. At least the Frosty’s pastrami was all bunched up and rippled from the tossing around the flat top separating the whole thing making it juicy and wild.
This place needs help with presentation.
Nothing much to say about a large and I telling LARGE piece of bread with processed meats just ligned up flat and flavorless.
Never again!!!☹️

While traveling for work, I always make it a point to seek out local sandwich spots—there’s just something about a great sandwich that hits the spot. Today, work brought me to the Sonoma area, and I stumbled upon a hidden gem: Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches.

At first glance, it’s easy to overlook—the shop is tucked away in an industrial part of town and doesn’t scream “gourmet eats.” But let me tell you, this place proves that you don’t need a fancy storefront to serve up seriously impressive food.

I stopped by right at noon, peak lunch hour, and was pleasantly surprised—no line, quick service, and my order was ready in just a few minutes. I went with the #17, turkey with thick-cut bacon, and it was massive. But the real star? The bread. The freshly baked sourdough was next-level—perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It took the entire sandwich up several notches.

Every ingredient was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and honestly, I’m still full hours later. If you’re in Sonoma and craving a legit sandwich, Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches is absolutely worth the stop

Stopped in on our drive up the 101 to Spokane, WA and oh man did this hit the spot! I had the dimaggio and my wife the chicken club add avocado and both were excellent !! The bread soft and so full of flavor, high quality cold cuts and just enough sauce to not make a total mess! The young man at the front counter was so full of energy and happy to make us smile! He brought the good vibes!! Lots of super bomb drinks to top em off!! I would love one of these in spokane where I pay about 5 dollars more for a sandwich of half the quality and thick tough bread! Bravo guys!! We will see you next time we travel!! You got a good thing going, keep it up !!

Just like the other reviews, their sandwiches are so delicious! I got the #28 hot pesto and chicken. The flavors were incredible! The sandwich is so huge, I took the other half home! Highly recommend and I’ll be back on my next visit to Rohnert Park!

This is by far one of the best sandwich shops in Sonoma County. I was hesitant to review because I don’t want more people to find out about it and make it even busier. But in all seriousness, they have a ton of different sandwiches and things to eat, and the bread is so fresh and warm like they literally just made it.

This was my first time here. And It reminded of another wonderful sandwich shop. The sandwich had plenty of delicious meat and the sourdough bread was great. I can’t wait to return.

The bread here is amazing. The staff is so nice and accurate with your orders. I love the clam chowder, especially if you dip their bread in it. Usually busy, but don’t let that deter you from going they are very fast.

Gigantic affordable Sammie’s and lots more.

This place is committed to feeding people, an art long lost at places like subway. The food is delicious, the menu has all the lunch classics and more along with a decent drink selection.

At the time of writing this I paid $13 for a pesto sandwich so big it’s going to be lunch tomorrow, and I sincerely appreciate the value. 5/5

Been coming here for 15 years, before they renamed to SSS it was Michael’s Sourdough.
They had great customer service, great bread and friendly staff.

Now a few years after selling themselves, the quality of the food, staff and customer service has plummeted.

Their bread is delivered daily and they cook it in house, however, it seems no one knows how long to cook bread for, as it is constantly undercooked.

OVERCHARGED and SCAMMED out of money by OWNER in the drive thru. Owner charged me $6 for a bagel with cream cheese and $8.50 for a smoothie. Denied overcharging and did not refund. MENU BOARD says $2.50 for the bagel and to add plain cream .50. She said to add cream cheese it was $3. How is adding cream cheese to a bagel $3? It’s not. $8.50 smoothie? I don’t like being scammed out of my hard working money, and I don’t like dishonest people! Filed a police report on the restaurant, and then with the health inspector, just for extra measures. I will be reaching out to the news and social media next. You scammed the wrong one lady!
