I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration to make some improvements. I really love sushi, but unfortunately this was the most disappointing experience I’ve had. I ordered the salmon and tuna rolls, which are pretty basic, but both came minced instead of with actual pieces of fish as expected, and they had an odd aftertaste.
I also tried the spicy edamame, which I assumed would come tossed in a flavorful sauce like at other sushi places, but it tasted like plain edamame with just some sriracha squirted on top.
The service was also disappointing. it took quite a while for our food to come out even though there were only two tables, and our server never checked on us after delivering the food.
I genuinely hope they take this feedback constructively, because I would love to see this place improve.

Amazing! Food was great the service was too tier and the atmosphere was chill. Very clean place. I will recommend to everyone I know!

I was with a group that had both shellfish and gluten allergies, and when we called to order we said *several times* that the orders needed to be packed separately. As someone without an allergy, I ordered a roll that had crunch topping and was assured that it wouldn’t impact my friends who have severe reactions to allergens.
This sushi ended up ruining the night because my roll topped with crunch was packed in the same small container as the gluten-free hand rolls, meaning that my friend couldn’t eat her dinner. To add insult to potentially life-threatening injury, the roll topped with crunch tasted so bad that I wasn’t even able to eat the food that had contaminated the order.
Another friend attempted to offer a gluten-friendly roll to the person with the gluten allergy, so imagine our surprise when this roll had crunch ADDED TO THE INSIDE OF IT FOR NO REASON. I know this level of negligence sounds unbelievable so I’m attaching photos.
Never again.

DO NOT COME HERE if you want good food and food service. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, and it took 28 minutes to arrive—even though the place was nearly empty. When it finally came, all the toppings were soaked and looked like they’d been sitting in the broth forever. I figured maybe the taste would make up for it: NOPE. The broth had a weird fishy flavor that didn’t belong in a pork-based ramen at all. The service was just as disappointing.

This sushi and sashimi spot offered friendly service and quick food delivery. I ordered the sashimi deluxe plate, which boasted a nice variety of fish with good-sized, well-plated cuts.
However, while visually appealing, the fish lacked distinct flavor. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t taste particularly fresh, which is often a sign of less-than-ideal fish quality.
Overall, it was an okay experience, with good service but the fish itself could have been better.

I brought my family here and we had a great time. First, the service was fast, there was no wait, and the two girls working tonight were very sweet and did not delay in taking care of us.
The most important part- the food. To start, I ordered a jalapeño yellowtail sushi roll and it was SPICY because of the big jalapeño pieces so be warned. But it was really good and the rolls were bite size, my favorite. We also ordered a beef tataki appetizer and it was flavorful and beautifully presented. My family all ordered different hibachi meals, with mine being the scallops and shrimp. Everyone was satisfied with the taste and the portions were huge! The scallops were surprisingly fresh and the shrimp had been cleaned, no poop veins.
I’m really happy to have found this restaurant- it’s a family friendly choice, with high quality American Japanese food and awesome services.

Save your money and go somewhere else. We decided to go here based on a google search. Food is nothing like what is advertised on their website. We waited 45 minutes for food. The soups were fine but the hibachi was cold, only ate the protein because we were so hungry. My husband found plastic in his noodles after eating majority of the food. The waitress clearly saw we weren’t happy. Left the table with full plates of uneaten food. She didn’t seem to care since her gratuity is already included on the check. Horrible experience, will never go back. Should’ve just went to PF CHANGS. And just to add in case the owners read this, you need to clean your resturant, the bathroom stinks and the grime on the high windows and corners is gross. Should’ve taken that as a red flag from the start.

We had the chicken tempura & cucumber roll, salmon roll with cream cheese, edamame, and fried rice. All of the food was good and for a pretty good price. The chicken tempura & cucumber roll was thicker and 5 pieces while the salmon roll was thinner and 8 pieces. Wasn’t busy at dinner time on Thursday, and service was pretty fast. Good enough that we will be back.

This was my first experience, i love hibachi & fried rice but wanted to try a new / closer place. I like that you have BOGO options online but the chicken fried rice is had for take out was extremely disappointing. I should have checked reviews before ordering. The rice had no flavor, and rice was dried out and a bit crunchy. The clear soup was the only thing I ended up eating in my order. I will drive the few extra miles and pay extra to eat at Koto Grill. They are top of the line.

Koto should be Much higher than 4.4 stars! I’m just in town on a business trip, and I’m glad I ignored the ‘1 star reviews’, the service was Great, meaning Ping wasnt hovering but always knew when we were ready to order, wanted more to drink, and needed a box to-go.
If you’re in the mood for hibachi & sushi I recommend Koto.
