I’m writing this review because I’m usually a big fan of this location and have been coming for a long time to support Scott and his family. I’ve known Scott for years and have always appreciated the quality he brings to his business, which is why I was so disappointed with my meal today.
I ordered the Lil hibachi steak, but unfortunately, it was very chewy and not cooked to the temperature I requested. I also paid an extra $0.75 for broccoli and only received four pieces, which felt like a very small portion for the upcharge.
Additionally, my extra order of noodles was forgotten. The staff did offer to keep a ticket for a replacement for my next visit, and I appreciate that.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because the overall experience and meal quality just weren’t worth the price (over $10). I know Scott wouldn’t have been happy with this, as it’s not the high standard I’ve come to expect. I’m hoping this was just an off day and that this feedback can be used constructively.

Not the friendliest place. I walked in the door and nobody was at the register. I waited about 30 seconds and said hello and the person cooking didn’t even bother to look at me. It wasn’t until a few minutes later that somebody finally came to the register and helped me. You know what they say, you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.

I’d give zero stars for service, if I could. It took them ten minutes to take our order, then read it back correctly. We get out order after waiting 30 minutes and it’s wrong. No big deal… I fixed it by moving vegetables around. Then we notice we’re missing our onion soup. We are informed that we didn’t pay for it but they’re making it anyway. So we sit and start to eat only to be told five minutes later that we were NOT getting the soup because we didn’t pay for it. I would have paid for it, but the delivery was ridiculous. Will not ever eat here again. Even if they paid me.

My girlfriend and I both got lil’ chicken meals, and they skimped out majorly on the amount of food. And the dining area does not have any napkins.

Terrible food, prices are crazy high and the quality is crap. Employees were just sitting down. Cook won’t even turn his head to speak to me even though he knows English and I was just asking about the menu. Used to be a regular and will never eat here again. The portion was so small for $20 a plate

Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Broccoli was ordered and forgotten, and rice tasted stale and dry. This place used to be good, Will be our last visit here

I stopped by for the first time because I wanted some quick hibachi which sometimes isn’t the best combo, quick& hibachi. But I had a friend recommend this place. I have it a try just to see for myself and I wasn’t disappointed! I ordered the chicken and steak combo with rice and all the veggies. The to go plate was filled to the brim and has lots of meat to veggie to rice ratio. It tasted amazing, freshly made to order food. Only had to wait around 10 minutes, which I believe is appropriate for them to cook the steak and chicken fresh. The lady made sure to ask how I wanted the steak cooked and if everything that came with the plate would be okay for me to eat. Great experience for me at the Ogden location, definitely will stop again.

Hibachi To Go….. What’s going on with your portions? The portion of protein is less than half of what is pictured here on google. I mean, the portion of steak and chicken in our lunches today could fit in my 6 year old daughters hand– easily. 2 small pieces of broccoli, a few pieces of zucchini, a tiny amount of onion, then about an entire carrot, and, of course, about a half pound + of noodles.

Look, it tastes good. But opening that box is just a total disappointment when the portions look like this. 90% noodles flavored with beef is Ramen. For $15+ per person, there is no way I can continue to visit your establishment. For a similar price I can go to a sit down Hibachi and get a mountain of food. Something has to give. Wish I’d taken a photo.

Out of the Hibachi locations in the area, this is by far the best in my opinion. The staff is always friendly, even if obviously busy. The fried green beans are delicious. I love the daily specials, they are the perfect size. I have to admit one of my favorite things is the fruit infused water, I love the variety and taste. Sometimes it’s the little simple things in life ya know?

First time visiting this location in Ogden (7028 Market). My husband got steak and shrimp with no veggies. I got steak with all veggies. It tasted okay but we didn’t get decent portions of anything except rice. I know it’s not fine dining but we never had this issue before.
