Had a lovely bite for dinner with family. Friendly staff and great food! Ask for skull skins – Yum. (fried dough in strips with a cheese dip)
We had a grinder, a pizza, cheesebuger and fries. All classic dishes perfectly presented.
It was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in weeks.
Nice atmosphere with amiable mix of local folks. Really enjoyed our meal thanks to Miranda and the cook who made our night. Will return.

This is an amazing little bar in a 1 light town! Food was great and fast, service was friendly and checked in on us often.

Truly the best burger (Patty melt) I’ve ever had! I live in NY and I am originally from Haïti. Food (deliciousness) is a love language… The staff st Cadet Tavern was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend that anyone stops by for a bite and a cocktail if they are in the area.

Grew up here and have been going here for years on an occasional basis. Don’t know what happened Tuesday night, but ticked me off pretty soundly.
Came in at 8pm, was assured kitchen was open and they had tacos on special. Sounded great. Ordered 3 tacos and agreed to chips and salsa, along with an ice water. There was a six top waiting for food, and two individuals who were paying their tabs. No other guests in the bar.
Waited. Got my water, but no chips.
Other patrons came in. 6 top got served, and new folks got served food. (Maybe they called in an order?) Waited 30 minutes, started by canceling the chips and salsa (which should have been an indication I was tired of waiting). Then I waited more. At 40 minutes I gave up. Told the server to forget my order. Was assured they could make it to go…but it wasn’t even made at that point.
I just didn’t understand. The cook was filling orders, just didn’t seem to be mine.
Should I have Called and order a pizza? I’ve NEVER had a problem. Maybe I’ll have to limit my orders to the phone. There just isn’t much of anything left in Concord in the evening. Really would prefer supporting a local business, but not many choices. Would rather have had food than just leaving a couple bucks for the server for bringing me water and ending up at the PS Mart for a Subway sandwich.

Ordered a large pizza, wanted it cooked a little longer, pizza was still doughy and they forgot to add the banana peppers so added them afterwards and threw a little cheese over them, also ordered the pizza ear and they didn’t even cut it, called to complain and get it replaced and was told they would let Kim know and she would reach out back to me, never heard from her and threw the pizza away so we wasted almost $40.

We always love stopping here for pizza during our camping weekends in Pulaski. Pizza and cadet bread are yummy. Great service as well! Our server Amanda was attentive and so nice. Our drinks were always full and our food came out in no time! ♡
