The food was good. But I’ll be honest they don’t know how to service customers sides should be given before the main entree… not all at once and to keep telling the customer that you close in a hour multiple times is very unprofessional. Get it together

My husband and I came here for a late Valentine’s Day date (dumb school snow days, lol) and when we got there, I noticed it was very clean and organized. We were greeted and placed our order at the counter, we ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, with fries, sambousek, rice pilaf with almonds, and secret off menu item, beef hummus with pita loaves. It was all very good. Served in take out containers and brought to our table on a tray with disposable utensils and napkins. The off menu beef hummus was AMAZING! We learned of it from a Detroit Eats Instagram Influencer, well worth it! Comes with seasoned beef/almond mixture on top of hummus. Everything had good flavor. The fries are skinny and have very good flavor as well, yummmm we will be back!

Honestly I wouldn’t order food again, this shawarma had nothing to do with shawarma, it was basically a very dry roast beef, very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and save your money and go elsewhere or maybe try the Dearborn location. The two positive things were
1- person on the phone I talked was super nice
2- the food was ready on time

I’ve been to the other locations and this was my first time going to the canton location. It did not disappoint! The food is fresh and flavorful. Can’t wait to return and try more of their menu. Pictured: Beirut flatbread & lemon crush juice

It’s was my first time trying the canton loaction.. I must say it’s a different concept than both locations in dearborn and dearborn heights. It’s more of a carry out style concept. U order your food at the counter, and u can sit, and they will bring the food in to go boxes. But with all the goodness of fresh bread and complementary tea. I must say the customer service was exceptional
positive attitude and welcoming was hard to find these days from the owner at the cash. We got out food in no time with complementary tea and humus with some veggies, which was interesting. The food was great. Must try the beirut flat bread it’s to die for. All in all, a must try spot for some tasty lebanese food.

I ordered chicken gallabha and fattoush salad. The peppers had stickers on them, which suggests they weren’t washed properly. They did remake the dish for me, but there was no offer of compensation. This location is a carry-out place only. The portions were small and unimpressive, so I would suggest looking for better options for takeout elsewhere.

Ordered boneless chicken for dinner. Price has been increased by $5 with portion and quality compromised heavily. Lentil soup was disappointing. Won’t come back. They started well but could not keep the quality.
We have so many good choices in Canton that my family surely will not return to Al Ameer in near future.
Oh by the way, they handed over the packet to me, and driving half way back home I received call from them that I have forgotten the main dish. I had to drive back and get the main dish. It was simply their carelessness that they handed me over only half the order. They need to be more customer focused. Sorry guys, you didn’t live up to the expectation.

Guys, please do better. Prices are too high for the portions you are serving. The kebabs have shrunk by half and all of the meats are so dry now. You guys are either overcooking or reheating the meat. Your customers are not stupid. They will stop coming and you will start crying about your sales. Personally, I don’t care if you increase your prices but don’t screw me on the portion and quality when I’m feeding a family of 5.

This location is radically different from the other, larger buildings. It still has a great feel and large menu to choose from. The food was hot and fresh, and our front counter worker was polite and expedient.
We each ordered our own favorites this time. She had the Shish Tawook and its garlicky excellence while I picked up the Shish Kafta with its beefy flavors. Both were good, with us preferring the Tawook. The kafta was a little dry but tasty.
Alongside this, we nabbed an order of the falafel, and I am so glad we did. They were on point! Even the side veggies were tasty. I’m definitely ordering these again. Also, we got an order of their fresh bread in the bag, and it is so darn good.
Would recommend. Will come back.
