Delicious sandwiches and I just love it when the lettuce is shaved so thinly! It shows extra love
The owner was there and he was letting his staff do their thing and greeting the customers one by one as they finished up their orders.
Highly recommend the Capo and Italian!

Great new deli in DTA, the Italian on seeded bread was a 10/10 and my Italian dad gave it two very enthusiastic thumbs up! Can’t wait to return to try out the Cuban hot sub that owner Brain recommended
Easy parking with the garage right there, give this place some love!

We have ordered several different sandwiches ( hot and cold selections) for office staff. It has become an office favorite place to order. The portions are generous, you can build your own even if you are vegetarian. Seeded bread delicious!

A classic cold cut Italian is relatively easy to make, but finding a good one in Annapolis has been a bust. I’m thrilled to finally have a downtown deli that’s mastered it. Capo was the perfect addition!

I am very picky about my Italian sandwiches and I can’t believe I found Capo Deli in Annapolis. Simply the best sandwiches that I’ve had. Super friendly service. Feels like home. I wish I lived here. (Here on business). I will be sure to come back. Thanks to Brian, the owner for the great conversation and food!

Food: Slightly-above average but large Italian sandwich. Comparable to Jersey Mike’s. High price. Better Italian available from The Big Cheese (also comically large and overpriced). Even better at Giolitti’s. Both of those businesses have vastly more varied menu options as well.
Service: Slightly below average. They only accept online orders prepaid with credit cards and will not let you place a carry out order with cash. Since other places do, and the rest of service consists entirely of handing you a bag over the counter, that’s a hit. Additionally, unlike the previously mentioned local businesses, there aren’t really other offerings or discussions to have with staff or anything else.
Atmosphere: Standing room and a cash register. Again falls far short of the other comparable and locally-owned businesses. Giolittis has an entire walking area packed with imported Italian goods and wines, as well as an interesting rotating assortment of fresh deserts and prepared foods. The Big Cheese has cringy Trump-themed trash to make fun of and a laughable wall of partisan politics to mock. Both are better.
Buy local.

Terrible value for the money! My $18 large caprese came with 4 paper thin slices of mozzarella. Most of the sandwich was just bread. My wife’s turkey sandwich was missing ingredients and 3/4 went in the garbage can. The pasta salad tasted exclusively like raw onions. Blech! What a disappointment!

Amazing sandwiches. They use high quality ingredients and don’t skimp on portions. Excited to have this addition to the Annapolis food scene.

Best subs in Annapolis! The downtown deli is new, clean, and you are greeted with a smile. Customer service is top notch, with employees willing to go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. We ordered a Capo special as well as the Italian. Everything from first bite to last was delicious. The bread and toppings were all supremely fresh and the deli meat was top shelf quality. You cannot get this level of flavor and quality from a “five dollar footlong” chain store. We will absolutely be back!

I was so happy to see they offered everything I put on my dream sandwich including the seeded bread! My only suggestion is if there could be an option to add oregano/Italian seasoning when ordering online please! Customer service was great. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!
