This has to be a joke. I paid $20 for a double steak and barely had any meat on one side. Basically a bread sub. As soon as I picked it up I knew it wasnt any meat in it. It was light as a feather. This place was nostalgic to my childhood but now it’s a disappointment I tore some of the bread off to make it edible. Lol I have to laugh to stop myself from being mad.

This place has been great until the last couple weeks it’s been horrible! For the past 5 years we order from here weekly!! Past 2 weeks we ordered and ask no trim they still put it, yet I ordered a steak sub and then they say I didn’t and I had to wait for them to make it. When I called to let them know about the issue they hung up on me ? Really ? Like I’m not asking for discount or any freebies, all I wanted was for them to get it right so others don’t have to go through what I went through. I drive from middlebelt and Ecorse to come eat here and I have been so loyal to this amazing place! But the service needs attention from the owners asap! You will loose more customers if you don’t fix it!!!!!

Simply awesome. Went there cuz the wife wanted a real sub…. Not a fast food/ franchise sub and we weren’t disappointed. Had the pizza sub and cold traditional and we ended up cutting each in half to share and loved both. Looking forward to trying other subs in the very near future!

I like Captain Nemo’s especially their Pizza subs and Steak and Cheese subs. I like extra trimmings and seasoning. Sometimes if they don’t fill the bread enough with meat it can be too much. I could also use more seasoning in/on the actual meat. Overall I’ll give it a 4 out 5 cause it’s good and when you have a taste for it you really have a taste for it. I’ve been to four locations and all are pretty similar.

I found out about this place through YouTube. The bread was really fresh. The sandwich was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The prices are decent. No complaints here.

The submarine sandwiches here are very tasty! This is evidenced by the brisk business done at Nemo’s. Sandwiches are available in either 8″ or 16″. My personal favorite is turkey. My wife’s favorite is tuna. (Sadly, smoked turkey is not available and black olives are not available). “Better Made” brand chips of many varieties are available. Fountain drinks are available. Inside tables and chairs are there if you want to dine inside. But the atmosphere is extremely casual and spartan. The submarine sandwiches are delicious! You can phone in your order for added convenience. Nemo’s is always busy which you can attribute to their popularity. I highly recommend.

This has been a favorite spot for years, until now. I just received the worst customer service ever! We ordered a sub for $26.50. It was stated exactly what was wanted on the sub and when it came out with the veggies (trimmings) on it and we took it back to the counter, we were told we ordered it incorrectly and that they could not remake it or replace it. She expected me to walk out with no sub and no money back. She said she would get in trouble because they just had a meeting about this. First off, I was over charged because the lady taking the order was confused, second this is, I’m not giving you $30 and leaving with nothing. To top it all off, after she realized I wasn’t accepting that she rudely told the cooks to remake my sub and went around the corner talking to the African American woman that took the order and an older white woman that was not willing to peek her head around the corner to talk to me, but they had no problem talking about me. They went on to say they were so sick of people doing this all the time and kept saying how we should know how to order properly.
The 2 young men cooking were the only nice ones there. This is unfortunate!
