VERY authentic food and atmosphere. Everything tastes homemade and it’s a typical Dominican establishment. we ordered costilla de res y de cerdo (pork and beef ribs), yellow and white rice with habichuelas (beans), macaroni salad (códito), and a side of maduros, and tostones. With some Inca cola.
Will say it was 35 for two lunch plates with two seperate orders of the tostones and maduros. And two sodas A little pricey for what they give you but not too bad. I understand prices have skyrocketed for small businesses inventory so I’ll give them them grace.
I’m Hispanic myself and eat a lot of this and I will say it is homemade, it is authentic, it is good. But it isn’t great.
the meat PHENOMENAL family loved it very tasty fall off the bone. But I wish they gave more meat in the lunch special it felt like their was more rice then actual meat which I cared for most. This is my main complaint just more meat we were left wanting more.
Maduros were not as sweet as I would have liked the plantain wasn’t ripe when they cooked it. Which as a small business I understand the idea so your food lasts longer but wasn’t amazing taste wise.
Tostones were very good I will say we really liked them, I personally added some salt to mine and to be picky I wish they were thinner I like my tostones crispy and this wasn’t crispy but still very good!!
Rice was great both types tasted homemade and like an abuela made it pretty good no notes!
It all tastes good just slight things I wish were done differently. I say worth a try come to busankas to see for yourself it’s good! I recommend an Inca cola to drink on the side I forgot how much I loved this soda!! Me and my family will be back we plan on trying the breakfast and other menu items!!

I eat almost 3-4 times a week at Busanka or grab it to go. The food here is always good, feels and tastes home cooked and consistent. Their lunch specials come with a lot of food for a great price and my family enjoys the variety.

Great large platters and perfect for catering. The favorite in our family is the roast pork, empanadas, and yellow rice. Rotisserie chicken is also excellent and great for picky eaters.
Order extra – the leftovers taste better! Full disclosure, I am not Dominican or Spanish, but my coworker who is says it is great.
