We love trying new places, so we made the drive to Bricks and Brews for dinner on 7/30. The small dining room was packed when we arrived, and since a line was forming, we grabbed a clean table in the corner—I wasn’t sure if it was seat-yourself, and failed to read the “rules” at the door or any signage explaining the process. One employee (I think?) walked past, but he wasn’t in uniform and didn’t acknowledge us, so we just sat down.

Eventually, we figured out that you order at the bar—after grabbing our own menus. It was a little confusing, especially for a first-timer.

We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and a couple of beers. I do want to flag the presentation: the dip arrived in a tinfoil bowl with completely burnt toast. I honestly wasn’t sure if that’s how it was supposed to look, but I can’t image it is. We didn’t complain or speak to a manager—we just went with it.

The vibe inside leaned heavily “frat house” with what looked like an all-bro staff (if your name is Tanner, Conner, or Kyle, you’re hired!) The service seemed to favor wine drinkers over beer drinkers; those tables got noticeably more attention. We felt a little “left out.”

That said, the bartender did check on us once things slowed down and brought another round. We ended the night out on the patio, which was enjoyable.

Overall: not a bad experience, but the execution and service could be tightened up—especially for new guests walking in for the first time.

New and delightful Gem in Magnolia. Wonderful pizzas and salads! Beer selection is some great local favorites. Unique wine selection. We also signed up for their wine lockers. A new favorite. Great service and on a night that they were super busy. Hats off Magnolia Texas.

We had a lovely evening here. The food was awesome. We tried the Buffalo chicken dip, the brisket pizza with pulled pork, the shrimp scampi pizza, and a regular sauce meat pizza. Everything was really good. We had a group of 9 folks with a large order and the pizzas came out in stages…but that worked fine. They have some local craft beer options and some west coast options. They also have wine. I tried a hard cider that was great. It seemed like different nights have different drink specials. I imagine you can call to find out more. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have also done takeout from here many times. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazing pizza. Had great flavor and the crust had the perfect amount of char. The staff was super friendly. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place earlier. My wife had the gluten free crust and she loved it and so did I. We will be coming back here on the regular. My new favorite pizza place.

Absolutely amazing! I live over in the CT/NY area and if you know anything about the north, pizza is apart of our upbringing! Let’s just say this pizza reminded me of home! Chicken, bacon, ranch is a fan favorite up in the north and their version of it was top notch. Totally recommend this place! The owners were super nice and friendly, the staff was pleasant, and the whole atmosphere was so welcoming and homey! You can’t go wrong with some pizza, beer and an all around good time! Will definitely be back!

2nd stop for my wife and I’s #reallydough adventure… Great pizza place! Crust alone is flavorful even without those fancy seasoning options. No need to season these pizzas fresh off the oven. Suggest outdoor sitting as it can get cramped inside. Board/card games and great draft selection while you wait. Went for the shrimp scampi pizza and it did not disappoint! Do yourself a favor and add some oysters so you can really taste the sea! Great service and very reasonable prices are a definite plus.

The atmosphere was so nice, and they have vintage glass bottled soda. They have an amazing beer and wine selection, though we did not try any this trip. There is also an outdoor seating area with a small fun playground. Very pretty string lights make for a nice ambiance for the cooler fall nights to come.

High quality pizza in a delightful setting. The base held up the pizza well and the tomato sauce was fresh. Dropping one star because they forgot one of the toppings we ordered. We’d go back to try more and we recommend this place!
