My wife and I had dinner here and it was lush. Last time I had an Italian meal like this we were in Bardolino.
My wife had the Haggis Arancini which was a special and I had the Calamari fritti from the starters to kick off. I had a taste of the arancini which was really nice, but the Calamari was exceptionally good. Sometime Calamari can lose it’s flavour as you chew but not this dish. Really good.
For my main I had the Venison Papardelle from the specials and it was delicious. A perfectly balanced Venison ragù and melt in the mouth pasta.
For dessert I had the tiramisù which was lovely. My wife had the panacotta. It was all washed down with a very nice pinot grigio and the whole meal was very reasonable, price wise. Would definitely recommend Cucina Amore.

Highly recommended for an amazing homemade kitchen and reasonable prices! One of a very few that serves really amazing and Italian food! I am a fan of Italian cuisine and I have tried many of them in Edinburgh and around, this is the Winner! Everything was freshly prepared and my friend enjoyed homemade tiramisu. Good atmosphere and music choice too. Plenty of space to bring your kids too. All the best for more happy customers! We will be definitely back!

We ate here a while ago to celebrate my parents 60th Wedding anniversary. It was the first time in 8years we had all been together as a family. Had this not been the case I would have walked out within 5mins. The female owner was possibly the rudest restaurant owner I have ever met.
She should be ashamed of herself and find alternative employment, as hospitality is clearly not her forte. Can’t discourage people enough to avoid eating here.

Having just eaten at another establishment, we’d gone for a short walk and wanted to enjoy a nice coffee and dessert here. We entered and asked for a table, it was just before 5pm and had maybe one other table of guests at it.
We were greeted by a very rude lady host, who took one look at us and said they only serve ‘full meals’, and couldn’t serve us a coffee and dessert. Imagine that…

Aside from 10 minute wait for ordering drinks at the beginning, given full attention from what seemed to be the two owners. Friendly, polite and a high level of customer service.
Flavoursome main dish with attention to detail on side components. Exceeded expectations, would recommend!
