Aldo’s is a good Italian restaurant in Sandy Springs. We love Aldo’s Chicken Romano!! We tried a few different dishes but we always go back to Romano. They have white tablecloth but not so formal. Their service is amazing with very tentative servers. They have the same menu throughout the year so it’s great if you want to stick to what you like. Entrees come with salad and rolls.

I was the only person there at 5:45 on a Friday evening. Friendly staff, I only saw one gentleman. I ordered the mozzarella appetizer. It was okay. Kind of bland tasting, the marinara on it was good though. The salad would have been fantastic but had way too much pepper. The bread tasted fresh and had good flavor with the butter and garlic. My main course of the chicken francese was very good but the pasta was undercooked.

I just had an excellent meal at Aldo’s. The Shrimp Francese was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I will be returning, and I highly recommend!

Came here on a 6/9/23.
To try for the very first time was very impressive.
The service was excellent, and the food choice was excellent as well. I got food from the appetizer list, which was perfect!
I tried the 3 cheese with stuff, seafood mushrooms, and the mussels in white wine sauce with angel hair pasta. A must try! I had a Kettle One martini to complete the dining experience. .
And I think I met the owner!

What a special experience! Lisa and I arrived in the mid afternoon on Friday and we’re greeted by the very gracious and charming Masoud. He assured us that we could stay as long as we wanted to stay and it was not too late for lunch. The food was amazing and his quick wit was priceless! It was our first time. He opened the location 34 years ago! This place is an institution and historic! The food is amazing! The chicken fettuccine was superb! Lisa’s salmon was also exceptional! Thank you for a great dining experience! BTW, he stocks Alex Grappa….. Possibly my favorite. Give it a try!
Go for the food and stay for Masoud’s great jokes! Thanks!!!

We stopped in late night for a dinner after the rush.
We were greeted as we came in by the owner.
What a neat atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great.
The best bread I may have ever eaten. Now we were late and maybe they cooked it just for us, but the bread came out warm and perfectly cooked – crusty outside and gloriously soft inside.
We had manicotti, lasagna, alfredo primavera, and a pizza.
Seriously this may be the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Very good.
I wish I lived closer and could come more often.
Give it a shot, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Food was good but they were expecting a lot of tip and spoiled the mood absolutely while we paid the check. The waiter was rude.

We were craving Italian so we stopped in on a whim. A little concerned that it wasn’t crowded on a Saturday night but gave it try anyway. 2 entrees that included a salad and bread, and a bottle of wine for $63 seemed incredibly fair. The waiter has ZERO personality but the food came quickly and tasted amazing. More than enough to take home. I realize this place has been here for years…with some brighter customer service and a little decor refresh, they would do better!

We went here on a Friday night in January. We had reservations but it was pretty quiet. It’s a lower key place, not super fancy but really great food. We started with calamari and a bottle of red wine. I had shrimp scampi and also tried the parmesan. Both were great! The garlic buns were tasty and so was the salad.
