I have been coming to Newtown Deli for many years. Hundreds of times. The food is always fresh and delicious. The variety of foods is astounding. So many choices and each is great. Good old American food, Spanish food. Sandwiches and hot plates of food plentiful and delicious always. The owners are there to greet you each time you go in and the staff is exceptional always . Hundreds of times I’ve been here and never once a not optimal experience. My hats off to this great food establishment that we have in our beautiful town of Newtown, CT. Another delicious opened recently and there is simply no comparison. I expect soon the doors will close. They could take a page, a book even the whole library from Newtown Deli! Thank you guys for feeding my family and me for these many years!

A little pricey but worth it every single time. Not a bad place to sit down for a quick meal but I always do take out and it’s ready within minutes. Their roast beef is mouthwatering and they have great gluten free rolls.

Occasionally order from this deli and whenever I do or our office does we are always satisfied ! I order the same sandwich every time and always so delicious , fresh , perfect portions and there chipotle mayo is the best chipotle mayo I ever had . I’m obsessed. Staff is always so nice ! recently met the owner when he came to our office he is so nice and there menu is awesome so many options!! Thanks newtown deli !! Everyone should try this place !!!!!!

You must go to Newtown Deli if you need catering! Phenomenal food and they were so accommodating! Portions were so generous and the pricing was very affordable. Highly recommend the lemon herbed chicken, roasted vegetables, and tomato mozzarella appetizer platter. Perfect for large parties!! Luis was so helpful and took time to sit down with me to plan our order!

Didn’t eat out at all last week, apart from getting a cold Italian sandwich from this deli at 12PM last Sunday. Within hours I was completely sick, lasted me all throughout the week. Medical results came back as E-Coli. Avoid this place.

Will probably never go back. Sandwich on a hard roll $9 Soda $3. Ok, prices are 30-40% higher than other delis which is ridiculous. But what is truly disappointing is that while raising prices, they cut back on the meat on the sandwiches. See photo.literally 2 thin slices of turkey, roast beef, and ham. Prices go up and portions go down.

10/10! I ordered breakfast for 25 people to be delivered the morning of my wedding to our hotel in Southbury. Louis & Jose were personable, kind, and made the process easy. The food was delivered on time, fresh, and with a smile. They even put each person’s name on the container to make the process easier. Absolutely will be back!

I stopped in here for a breakfast sandwich after a hike in the nearby state park. I was able to order online and then pick it up within 5 minutes! The breakfast sandwiches were bacon, ham, or sausage with two eggs/cheese on a hard roll and were so inexpensive! Two sandwiches came to $5 and they used good quality meat on them. Overall they were good, could have used a bit more meat, but considering the price it was totally reasonable! I’d recommend stopping in for a sandwich.
