Everything was great.
Yemenite soup 10/10
Spare ribs 10/10
My husband choose the pastrami burger and it was amazing. You really can’t go wrong with the burgers here, they are really good and cooked perfectly. Fries are natural cut, but nothing special.
This time I chose the brisket and turkey with gravy. The sides I chose were mashed potato and green beans and everything was very very delicious. My husband claimed that mine was too bland, but to me it was perfect (he likes things salty). The portion size was appropriate for the price. I couldn’t have been happier.
The service was really really good. We never had to ask for a water refill and everything was served with smiles. All our needs were meet before we knew needed it, and that’s great service. My only problem was that everyone around us got a basket of bread before their meal and we were not given (or offered) this. It was fine, because I’m trying to cut back on carbs, but it would have been nice to be asked.
There’s a full bar here, and decor is dimly lit typical Upper- East side. I highly recommend this place, especially for a burger.
