New management is start since March 19/2024 We are working on the pictures and updated the old menus. We’re extremely sorry for the taking too long to do an order. We are trying to set it up quicker. We will try our best to not let problems like this affect the experience for customers in the future. We are changing all the food by base on the original authentic Thai. Some food will contain differently amount of vegetables and taste of food. Thank you for all your feedback.

Incredible authentic thai tucked away in a residential street. They’ve seemingly covered the backyard in gravel to make a charming parking lot and converted the first floor into a bar and restaurant with effortless charm and atmosphere. The service is excellent despite a skeleton crew, and the food is perfectly authentic and delicious.

Nice home made style Thai restaurant.
Staffs are very kind and professional.
Prices are competitive and portions are generous.
It has a parking lot in rear.
Dishes look more authentic and home-made style.
It is located in the middle of nowhere, but it gave me a experience as a spot in SOHO.
Good place for casual dining.

Lovely authentic thai restaurant. Extremely sweet owner. The food is absolutely delicious. The tea very lovely as well. I got pineapple fried rice with veggies it was very good i also go a thai iced tea which was also delicious. I had food for my daughter and asked for it to be heated up for a couple of seconds and there were no issues in doing so. The restaurant was clean warm (it is cold out) and lit well. Thank you for a lovely meal and experience!

It was my first time here today and it was even better than I hoped! I got Thai Tea, Papaya Salad and Taro Sticky Rice to try this time. I’m excited to come back and try more. The flavor is authentic and clean and fresh. I’m so glad I stopped in today. The owner is very friendly and it’s a very beautiful little spot. The gentleman making the drinks was very kind as well!

I love the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and this is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Everything I have had there is good …Wings, pad thai, pad see ew, drunken noodle, yellow and green curry, papaya salad, pad prik king, garlic chicken and fried rices. Probably forgetting some but I like to see what other people enjoyed eating when I read reviews hence the list. Friendly service too.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly owners! Friendly Thai is a favorite place for my son and I to stop on the way home from Rhode Island. The only negative is I wish they were closer to where I live, I would go at least once a week! Highly recommended.

Small but really nice and friendly place.
Food was delicious! The only place I found in eastern CT that uses chicken thighs for their teriyaki bowls. Tender & juicy with perfectly crispy skin. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, as well. Definitely coming back.

Under new management, but same great taste. I’m from California, where Thai food is a dime a dozen. This spot, I have returned to everytime I am here in Groton visiting. When we land, to the day of our flight – always a must to visit for lunch.
EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING, is good. You cannot go wrong with anything from the menu. Fried Calamari is so good, fresh, not stringy. The curries are real flavorful. Satays are always awesome. They are very accomodating with the spice levels too, so pick your battles! On weekdays, there are tons of people ordering to-go, as well as the General Dynamics facility – so you know I’m not the only one who loves this place.
TRUST, this is a good Thai spot.
Dont forget that Thai tea with boba!
Shout out to Toon (forgive me, I probably spelled her name wrong) for always taking care of us whenever we visit!
