I love Moe’s and decided to try this location. We stay at the hotel nextdoor often for medical treatment at UAB so this location was convenient and despite the low rating of the store I thought I’d give it a try. The crew was super friendly and helpful. The food however was not very good, smaller portions than other locations and a higher price. More disappointing was the food was lukewarm at best and the chips were stale. I really was surprised and not in a good way. Will stick to other Moe’s outside of Birmingham and continue to eat elsewhere when here.

Great food and service, but the atmosphere was what sold me! Friendly, engaging, attentive, united! They have great camaraderie among the staff and they said it’s a great place to work! Even said they have the best manager and that he values doing things well and right! 10/10 experience

I have been eating at Moe‘s southwestern Grill on 280 Highway in Birmingham for many years. Over the last several months, since the new owner took over, the food is the best it’s ever been, the atmosphere family friendly, and warm, and the staff trained and professional. I like to eat various dishes with tofu in it and they always cook it to order. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just got the adobo chicken nachos (since it is one of the only meats that they don’t upcharge for) and 95% of it was just chopped up chicken fat. First meal I’ve had in a long time that I was too grossed out to finish. I ended up tossing it in the trash after one too many bites of squishy/slimy chicken. It’s like they want to punish you for not paying extra. I was really looking forward to some Friday nachos and am very disappointed now.

I’ve been coming to this Moes for almost a year, i have never seen the employees seem to be so unhappy to be here. I overheard one of the employees talking to who i assume is the general manager and he was very rude, his wife was also there hanging out in the lobby and instead of him helping serve guest food he would rather kiss his wife and hang out with her. I do NOT recommend coming here unless you want to pay for overpriced food and watch a make out session…

I ordered from this store a bowl and a burrito. The burrito and bowl were both ice cold and the bowl was less than half full. The quality of the food was less than desirable. Upon checking i assume it was close to closing time (i ordered for my daughter im in Atlanta) but i still would like to receive the same quality and quantity that is given to customers who order when you open!!!
