Nice little restaurant that offers a lot of different Japanese dishes.
I ordered Katsudon which is basically a rice bowl topped with crumbed pork and egg-broth-mix.
The food came out super quick to my surprise.
It was nice but nothing outstanding, especially for the price.
Tip: if you want to spice it up a bit you can always ask for Shichimi (Japanese seven spice pepper)

Don’t let the four star review fool you: the food here is amazing. Absolutely 5/5 stars. Tasty, generous portions, fresh produce, everything pairs well with each other, good presentation, very premium food. A steep price, but worth it. One of the better Japanese restaurants in Perth.
However, the service was beyond subpar. The servers themselves were nice enough, but they were inattentive and slow. I reserved a table a week in advance and still had to wait ten minutes – poor organisation on their part. They took another ten minutes to take our orders, and they took others orders who came after us, before us. Annoying. The food then took twenty minutes to come which was acceptable, however the drinks took about fifteen minutes which was not. Of course, this was a Friday night and the restaurant was quite busy. But that’s no excuse.
So, if I were rating off food alone, it would definitely be 5/5. But due to the poor service I regret to bring it down to 4/5 stars. I recommend this place for those who love high quality modern Japanese food but won’t easily get irritated by poor service. Oh, and willing to pay $40 for a tempura bento. But I love the food so much I’m definitely coming back. It’s worth it. Next time though, I’d choose a different time and day so perhaps we’d get better service.

Service fantastic – timely, respectful, friendly. Food presentation could be improved, but tasted delicious and that is really what counts. Definitely value for money – left feeling quite replete.

Good food, especially the Chicken Karage Curry. The curry was not too sweet as most Japanese restaurants in Perth tend to serve it too sweet. The food also came out really quickly which allowed us to save a lot of time.

This place is fantastic! We had a table of 14 and everyone- kids included thoroughly enjoyed their food. My brother in law was very impressed with the fresh wasabi! Will be back:-)

I could go to kfc and takeway a zinger box for that price with the same taste and flavour.
Not to mention a scoop of rice for $4???? Your kidding right.
Do not bother even stepping foot in this restaurant unless your aren’t afraid to severly hurt your wallet.

Amongst other items, I ordered a chicken teriyaki and asked if it could be served with chicken skin. Waitress checked with chef and said “yes”. Dish came with chicken skin on most chicken pieces. On inquiry, owner came and said that was it. He asked me repeatedly and arrogantly what I wanted. He didn’t listen to me that the chef he had said he could serve without skin. Then chef also came and said he couldn’t do much. I felt threatened. Never take in face value what they say on their website. They violate peaceful Australia culture.
