Honest Reviews
Atmosphere- local business in the revitalized area of Merchant Street. Neat coffee hangout with an array of seating choices- from chairs to a sofa to church pews. Books available for you to relax and read. Loved the painting of the barista cat on the wall and the rustic old wooded floor.
Service- 4 stars- counter service- friendly employees- they claim to be veteran owned but the girl was not sure if they offered veterans discount. Would be nice if they do. Order was quickly made.
Food- 4 stars- I got the Blueberry Cobbler Iced Latte. Was very good- creamy and smooth with a hint of blueberry which I thought was well done- glad it wasn’t an over whelming blueberry flavor. Would like to visit again and try one of their bagels.

Parkside is an absolute treasure of a place! They have fantastic coffee and other drinks, cute and clever ideas for different theme drinks, a yummy little selection of food and baked goods, and Parkside overall has a cozy, welcoming environment. The best part though are all of the employees! They are beyond welcoming, kind, remember you once you’ve been there, and melt your heart with how thoughtful, caring, and friendly they are with children.

My son and I have been hoping for a good eastside coffee shop… This is it! There are lots of specialty options to choose from. It’s a nice atmosphere with a few unique tchotchkes to keep it interesting. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and fun My hot latte wasn’t very hot, next time I will request for the cream to be hotter before they add it… I also wish that they had some bakery items or sandwiches besides bagels (I was hungry.. lol). Maybe they can collab with Bonnie Bells or Great Harvest Bakery Anyways, I hope that Fairmont supports them – I’m a fan!

Very awesome shop. The vibes are great. Laid back sweet staff. I have only had the bagels and they are good. Just a personal issue. I am kinda set back that the prices aren’t listed. It makes it hard to know what you will pay when ordering. It would be helpful to have on display. But staff is happy to let you know price if you ask.

A coffee shop is my natural habitat. I like this one just fine. I take my friend for a latte sometimes on Saturday afternoons and we find that the coffee is fine, the atmosphere is congenial and we can chat awhile.

A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers…
A new coffee spot just opened up in town, and it’s already making a great impression. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The space is on the smaller side, but they’ve made the most of it with stylish decor and a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay a while.
Now, let’s talk about the coffee—absolutely fantastic. From the rich espresso to the perfectly The speed of service was also impressive; even during a busy rush, the baristas kept things moving efficiently without sacrificing quality.
The only downside? Parking was a bit of a hassle. It took some extra time to find a spot, which might be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. That said, once you step inside and take that first sip, any parking struggles are quickly forgotten.
If you’re a coffee lover, this place is definitely worth checking out. Just plan ahead for parking, and you’ll be in for a treat!

I’ve tried several different flavores lattes from Parkside, but all of them end up tasting like a lightly sweetened drink – not entirely like what I ordered. I believe it has to do with the size of the drinks, they’re considerably *larger* than the drinks from similar coffee shops, i.e. Yemen or The Joe. Their bagels are very good, but I’d like to see them expand their menu even further – maybe including breakfast sandwiches.

I am very picky when it comes to caffinated beverages, so if I’m taking time to write something, it’s a good thing! My first time at Parkside, I was almost intimidated by the line, but they breezed through it in no time at all! I ordered the chocolate strawberry latte, and, let me tell ya, it was SO worth the short wait. Ashley and her crew are awesome, and my drink was great. I am definitely going to make some time for some snackin’, the French Toast bagel being the most eye-catching for me. I highly recommend Parkside to any coffee (or breakfast) affecionado! To quote a friend, 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

We got takeout bagels from this shop today.
One was ordered without cream cheese, however when we got home it was caked with cream cheese.
The other was cinnamon toast crunch, the cereal that was on the bagel and inside the styrofoam box was stale.
Both bagels were also burnt to the point where it had to be noticed by the staff, however they still sold the bagels.
