Went with my son to use a free jr sno coupon from school & was told that we could not get the one we wanted which was a peach cobbler sno cone & bomb pop and was told it had to be plain. Mind you we came plenty of times and was satisfied until this one time. She did not care whatsoever and basically gave us what she wanted. Which was a plain jr flavor. I didn’t even mind paying for the extra she just did what she wanted to do. An made me feel very uncomfortable. This lady has on glasses and is a black lady with curly hair. I will be letting everyone I know about this unpleasant experience. In the picture is what I wanted versus what I received.

Not sure what’s going on here, but definitely didn’t get anything that resembled what we were supposed to get or what we get at other Bahama Bucks locations. What we got was a bomb pop that was broken in half and shoved in the sno cone, with a sad small dome top. The dreamscicle was deflated and melted into a flat mess. And these weren’t even ordered ahead. Pictures included to show we didn’t order flat top.

I received a certificate for a free party pack but when I called to see if I could use it, I was told I “had to be present to redeem it but it will take 2 hours to make it.” I understand it takes some time to make, especially on a Saturday, but 2 hours? Seems like they just didn’t want to honor it. Especially when I called a hour and a half before I needed it. There is also nowhere on the certificate that says to call in advance to order, so they should probably add that in there if that’s accurate. They also put on hold “to ask a manager” but I could hear the whole conversation where the manager said “tell her it’ll be like 2 hours or something.” Don’t offer certificates for items if you can’t honor them.

Waited forever to be served. All of the employees were messing around laughing in the back. We ordered for our kids first and then wanted to get a couple snow cones for ourselves. They never came back out. When we first ordered for our kids they kept trying to say weren’t doing the special cups or umbrellas and acted like they didn’t have gummy bears. They very clearly had all of those items. We opened the door and it says front door loudly and still no one came back out. This place used to have decent service.

Very disappointed! It is expensive and to top it off the service was awful. The worker jermiya acted as if she did not even want to be at her job. And when they gave me my order the mixed my unicorn snow cone with Oreo cookies from my sons. I would definitely not recommend this place. You can go to a Mexican paletera place and get more for your dollar.

This store is the SLOWEST Bahama Bucks in DFW. And it shouldn’t be. They have plenty of workers, “kids” working there. They are so busy laughing and talking instead of working it takes forever to get your order. Two cars ahead of you? Get ready to wait for 20 or 30 min. Management needs to get a handle on this lack of customer service soon. This has been the case at this store for a while.

My husband stopped by this location for a sno cone, and it was really disappointing. The high schoolers working there barely put any juice on it — it was super dry and had almost no flavor. It felt like eating plain ice. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend going to this location until they start actually making sno cones right.

So, look, you should realize that coming to a strip mall, commercial, chain store for snow cones is more expensive (minimum of about $5) than your local parking lot hut run by grade school kids. But in exchange for paying that premium… you get a light and fluffy ice shave (no hard rocks), tons of flavors with premium add-ons, generous serving sizes, all in a nice and clean air conditioned store. The staff were reasonably friendly and our snow cones were delicious and ready in minutes. Be warned these (like all snow cones) are SUPER sweet and intense flavor, so most of our group wished we ordered a baby or small size (instead ended up throwing away some of our bigger sizes). Overall we were all happy and would come back when looking for a special treat.

Bahama Bucks is cool. I had to give them a few chances. The first time I was there, there was a few fellas holding up the line trying to get a young ladies number through the drive through which was irritating. The second time there was a young lady who struggled with my order and after repeatedly asking what my order was, it was completely wrong. I gave her grace though considering she seemed like she was new. Yesterday, I had no issues. The place is employed by young adults and with that comes with young behavior but let’s be real, they are serving sweet drinks…I don’t expect 5 star service from a bahama bucks.

This was my first time at this location, there was no line while walking in the employee was nice, we dine in, the table we set at was clean, the service was quick Bahama bucks have the best shaved ice worth 20 minutes drive there
