Cafe Nashta is an absolute gem in Mercedes, Texas. The food is outstanding—honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The pakorahs were great—perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and an easy favorite right out of the gate.
What really set the experience apart was the hospitality. The owner personally greeted us and treated us to a mix of their best offerings, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this exceptional.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try everything—because every single dish is excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

Finally decided to try this place and boy are we glad we did. Welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff. We didn’t try any of the Mexican food but the indo-pak food we ordered was delicious . Owner is super proud of what he has accomplished here…as he should be. We devoured our food. Like if there weren’t others around we would have like our plates clean. Yeah, it was that goooood.

The thing to order here is the garlic Naan. It’s cute inside. The people who working there enjoy coming and talking to you asks about the food and will tell you about it. They are very very attentive.. Facing the window looking out is best seat in the house. I’d order the garlic naan agian. To go.

I ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and this is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried these dishes many times in Chicago and Houston, and nothing has come close. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly authentic. Every bite was fresh, bold, and comforting. If you think you’ve had great butter chicken or tikka masala before, try it here – this place truly tops everything.

First time trying it out and 10/10. I tried their butter chicken, white rice, garlic naan and samosas. You can order the spicy level to your liking, I chose mild, but they also offer medium or spicy. They gave me 4 of their sauces and I’m so glad I went with mild because they were spicy, but added a good flavor! Everything was flavorful and delish. The owners were so nice, and I will def be going back! Chicken biryani is next on my list!

Had been looking for something new to try and came across this cafe Friday night anddddd it was absolutely delicious. The owners are super nice and even brought us out some pakora to try and their personalities are just so friendly and inviting and they definitely make you wanna go back. We ordered the kema Alloo, butter chicken, and beef biryani and my gosh it was perfect. Definitely will be going back❣️
