Random days are the best. I was driving outside my usual confines to do a bit of donating.
While on my drive, I noticed a white pickup mirroring my moves. Eventually, I let them draw alongside. The driver was one of you he threw out a . I was overjoyed and threw out a ✌️ .
Found myself at Cafe Gran Milan and man oh man. This place, hidden from everyone, was packed to the rafters. A long line out the door and not a single unhappy patron.
I met a man and his partner who regaled me with tales of places as good as this. The man runs a bar called Toot’s. If anyone partakes, say hi.
The owner, staff and everyone who comes through these doors seem to be the happiest people on Earth.
I left satisfied wishing I’d found this place years ago.

Phenomenal! I’ve been many times and every time I bite into something from here I’m stunned. This time I got the soup+panino combo, both were truly excellent. Flavorful, hearty, fresh, everything is baked to be crunchy and soft where it needs to be. What a gem!

Hidden in the middle of the commercial and industrial office spaces, Gran Milan is a pleasant find. Italian Owner and Chef translates to excellent Coffee, Baked Goods, the Morning Bun Sandwiches, Paninis and Pizza! They bake everything in-house, make sure to try the Olive Bread sticks among other deliciousos!
Simply, good food, good people, good service.

The best hidden Italian bakery in the Bay! I’ve been looking for authentic sfogliatella after a recent trip to Italy, and was so happy to find this spot. The staff is so kind and the pastries bring you back to Italia!

The rumors are true. This place is the bees knees. The fare is excellent and the staff is warm and helpful. Not the cheapest, but good things rarely are.

Service was great, they were really nice. They have a simple menu and the food was authentic Italian food. Their coffee was really good too. Pictures attached are the Burrata Pizza and Gnocchi with Gorgonzola and Cream. This place is a hidden gem, must try!

Love this place the food, staff, & chill ambiance feels like a slice of Italy. I usually come for the breakfast items & coffee but their whole array of pastries & lunch items have expanded & worth pursuing. This is a business worth supporting

Rivals the quaint cozy atmosphere of anyone’s favorite cafe. Food is 12/12 artistic, delicious and made from quality ingredients. When they run out, they are out.

Simply incredible; it perfectly captures the authentic taste of a genuine Italian bakery. The pistachio-filled croissants are a must-try, as is the chicken pesto pizza. The coffee could be improved, but it’s still quite good. I’m so glad this place exists.

Many fabulous choices, so get there early. Not cheap but worth it. Best coffee latte I’ve ever had anywhere, even Italy.
