Terzo, meaning third in Italian, and connoting a third place to gather and share food & wine, was inspired by our travels around the Mediterranean. After running Rose Pistola and Rose’s Cafe successfully for years, we wanted to bring an authentic, upscale, European neighborhood restaurant to Cow Hollow.
Terzo is a beautiful combination of modern and cozy. Chef Miguel Tzab creates food inspired by the coastal regions around the Mediterranean Sea, sourced from our bountiful local farms and ranches. The eclectic and diverse wine list is attractively priced, draws from regions all over the world, and is designed to pair perfectly with the cuisine. Please join us for an exceptional neighborhood dining experience and your private dining need
This Mediterranean eatery with a big communal table serves both small & large plates.

A charming spot with a great atmosphere. The music is at the perfect volume, making it easy to enjoy good conversation. The food was delicious, served at the right temperature, and beautifully presented. Its location in the marina is a big plus. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to.

It’s rare to find a spot that hits every mark, but this place is the real deal. Every single dish we had was incredible, and you can tell there’s a genuine focus on using fresh, high quality ingredients. The drinks were great and the music kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night. Beyond the food, the staff were so friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel seamless. It’s a perfect, versatile space that works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a birthday celebration. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to chat with the owner Ava again. She is amazing 🙂

I live in the Mission and usually always want to eat around home. A good friend recommended Terzo and i took the 30 minute ride up to it. I would drive 2 hours to this place! The hummus, meatballs, and calamari were standouts. The spritzes also absolutely 10/10. Cannot recommend enough!

Walked in and thought this was a cute cozy place and I wanted to like more than I actually did… some of the food was tasty, however some dishes had a little too much salt. The hummus on the other hand was bland, pasty and forgettable (but our server said it’s permanently in the menu because it’s so good??) The portions were large, so if you like their food at least you’re getting a lot of it.
We sat in the little extra room in the way back. Ughhh. I hate sitting in the extra room at restaurants because it always feels like an afterthought. It was pretty loud in there and had zero ambience compared to the rest of the restaurant.
Overall didn’t hate this place, but I’m not in a rush to go back anytime soon…

From the moment you step inside, the cozy and intimate atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The warm lighting and inviting decor create the perfect ambiance for a romantic date night or a relaxed dinner with friends.
The service is truly outstanding. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail is taken care of. Our server made excellent recommendations, and her knowledge of the menu added to the experience.
As for the food—simply delicious. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, capturing the essence of Mediterranean cuisine.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines great food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. You definitely need a reservation, but seeing it was just myself, I sat outside, and there was a heater. My waiter came and said if I needed anything to come, and let him know. First, I’m in a fine dining. You should be checking on me, NOT the other way. Now I did almost leave because of this. I stayed, and the food was amazing. I had an Italian strawberry soda really good. I had the pork chop perfect. I closed out with a double espresso. I was going to get the flourless chocolate cake, but I was full. I will return and try the roasted chicken.

Went here with my hubby for Valentine’s Day! We were very happy with our meal and experience. From the appetizers to our main course, the food was really delicious. We had the scallops and the lamb for starter, then had the skirt steak and the steelhead (fish) next. Would definitely recommend to others and come back!

Ok, this place was stand out good. I randomly picked this place to have a few of my friends get together and catch up. I called and made my reservation weeks in advance just to make sure they could accommodate us. The night of we get there on time and there is a bit of snafu as apparently another party took our reservation unknowingly. This caused us to wait a little longer for our table, but it actually wound up working better as they had to seat us in a more secluded area. It was amazing. We actually got to talk and catch up. The food was honestly amazing. I was skeptical only because trying new places can sometimes be a letdown, but this was awesome. We keep talking about it. The service was also impeccable, and I really admire their willingness to pivot for us. I look forward to returning to Terzo!
