My husband and I went here for the first time tonight. We thought the food was about a 3 1/2 overall. We weren’t crazy about the Fresh Rolls or peanut sauce, but it’s one of our favorite appetizers and so we thought we would try it. I got a Thai tea, which I normally love, but left some in the glass and was pretty much making myself drink it. It just was not one of the most favorite ones I’d ever had.
My husband got Pad Thai and he said he would give it about a three. Honestly, I was kind of surprised because they brought his out without mine and we had to sit there for 5 to 10 minutes for them to bring me mine, therefore, his had pretty much cooled down by the time I got my dinner. I don’t know that I’ve ever really had that happen at a restaurant for that length of time and I was really kind of shocked. There were several people picking up their orders, and they were taken care of, but I’m not quite sure why we weren’t brought our dinners at the same time or shortly apart. There was no explanation or apology for the different delivery times, and my husband’s dinner cooled down while waiting on my plate to get there.
Overall, it wasn’t that great of an experience, but it wasn’t horrible. We were just glad to be out together and hoped to have some really good Thai food. I don’t think we’ll go there again.

I love Khaophums! I always come at least once a week. The staff is so so sweet and the food is amazing. This is my favorite restaurant in Dover!!! I always get the pineapple fried rice, and they let you choose how spicy you want it which is great. The lunch + dinner portions are perfect, and the appetizers come with a lot so I always take some home!

I tried this place on a whim with my fiance and I have to say we haven’t looked back! So far every dish I have I tried I’ve loved. Their crab rangoons are the best in Dover. My fiance lpves their spicy chicken wings and pinapple create your own. The fried ice cream is incredible as well! Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better place. The waitress is always so nice and welcoming as well.

I normally love Khaophums and have been coming here for years. Tonight, though, the wait was over 1hr and 20 mins after telling us the wait was only going to be 20 mins. Then the food they gave us was cold and half of what is normally served. The chicken satay was incredibly dry and stone cold. I’m not sure what has gone so wrong lately but I think we will not be ordering from here.

I’ve been told amazing things about this place! However, today I ordered takeout for my lunch break and after 30 minutes, I went to pick up my order (the wait time was between 20-25 minutes per the website where I ordered) and the woman at the counter told me she gave my food to someone else! Then, she asked me if I could wait for them to remake it. I could not as I was on my break, so I asked for her to just refund the card. Her response was “i can but not right now”. What’s that even supposed to mean? Where’s the apology? Or any sort of empathy for the fact that y’all messed up and now I’m screwed out of my lunch. Terrible customer service. Hope whomever ate my chicken satay enjoyed it! Will never attempt to order from here again. Rude people. I’m a 23 year old with more sense of quality customer service than these people who “run” this place.

I really want to like this restaurant, but once again it’s a letdown.
We ordered the food to go through Toast. The food was not ready at the time it was supposed to be, not a big deal. We got home and found out that the vegetarian dish we ordered had chicken in it. As we don’t eat meat this was very disappointing. I don’t think we will be going back

The place is a joke, they are close on 3rd and 4th of July, but the google map says they are open and doordash order got placed and was ready to pickup. When got there for pickup, they are closed! This is the second time they failed to process the order, the first incident was that I placed order through doordash and showed up 10 mins late, and they didnt have my order and couldnt locate the existence of it although I was showing on my phone the order details. Very unprofessional and not worth the potential of time wasted. Dine in experience may differ, but not willing to test that out anymore.
