Went for the first time for an early Sunday dinner. The atmosphere was nice and good music. Everything was clean.
The food however was a different story. All three of us ordered different things and none of us were impressed. You could tell most of it was from a can/frozen and reheated.
Also, typically Mexican places are meant to be on the cheaper side. Thats just how it works with rice/beans and such because those are cheaper foods. Each of our plates was 15$+ and portions didn’t match the price.

I will never go here again. The whole experience was frustrating. They bring over a payment machine that basically tells you how much you have to tip before you’ve even finished processing everything, which felt very pushy and uncomfortable. The food quality did not match the price at all — it was overpriced for what we received. On top of that, the service was rude and unwelcoming.
I would much rather go to the restaurant down the street where the prices are more reasonable and the staff is much more respectful. Definitely not worth it.

We visited El Orito Tacos for taco Tuesday. Regular price tacos were 3.25-3.75 and ground beef or chicken tacos were only $1.50 on Tuesday but we didn’t know that until we got the check, which had a 3% credit card charge added.
2 stars was for the service and chewy shedded beef taco. Rest of the food was OK, salsa was very runny but good flavor. The lady waiting on tables seemed bothered by us being there and was at the bar on her cell phone most of the time. When we left nobody thanked us for coming or even acknowledged that we left. Not impressed!

Update: I had previously given this restaurant 5 stars on my prior visit in April 2024. I am now downgrading my review to only 1 star based on my experience on 11/13/24. We arrived at 4:15 pm. My friend asked the server if there was a happy hour and the server said “no”. So I did not want to pay almost $14 for a drink so I ordered a regular margarita for $7.99. Our other friends arrived and then my friend saw another menu at the other end of the table and it was a Happy Hour Menu that was in place until 5pm. So my friend showed that menu to the server and had to explain to the server that it was a Happy Hour menu and then show her the prices and descriptions. So my other friends ordered the jumbo flavored margaritas for $8.00. So I could have gotten a jumbo flavored margarita for 1 cent more, if the server had not said there was no happy hour. Then I ordered the Cameron Loco and the bacon that was wrapped around the shrimp was so undercooked that it was mostly raw and the shrimp was tough, stringy and chewy. It was actually the worst meal I have had at any restaurant in at least 20 years. Then some of my friends noticed that their meals were on the Happy Hour menu, but they were charged full price on their bill, but the server did make a price adjustment for them, when they pointed it out to her. My experience was still very bad and I will never return there.

We had dinner Saturday evening. Restaurant was busy. We were seated at the last available booth/table. Our server Kimberly approached the table right away with waters and the service from then on was great. She took our orders and delivered the food quickly and it tasted Fabulous as always! Great Atmosphere! We Will Be Back!

Great music! Salsa & Merengue! La Makina and Marc Anthony to name a few. Ordered the jalapeno, pineapple marg. Not very pineapply or jalapenoy but was strong and got the job done. Hubby had the el orito fajitas. Love the pineapple in there. Pretty good. Lil burnt.
Maybe the pan too hot? The el diablo tacos were AMAZING! Loved them! Will absolutely be back to have them again! Can’t wait to try other menu items. Service was great!
