Pho Hut has been part of my food journey since 2015, and by 2018–2020 it had become one of my regular go-tos. Even while I was fully plant-based, they had plenty of options that kept me coming back.
Their soups have always stood out: steaming hot, generously portioned, and flavorful enough to enjoy half now and save half for later. Every friend and family member I’ve brought here over the years has returned on their own, which says everything about its consistency.
Life and moves have caused breaks in my visits, but every time I wander back in — or order online — I’m reminded why Pho Hut has held strong for me all these years. The flavor is still flavoring! ✨

Thank you for allowing me to give this review. Is not to criticize in a bad way. Is for you guys to improve. I have high expectations on the pho noodle bowls. I had the beef and pork spicy bowl. Believe me it had no flavor at all. Seemed that you guys boils beef and pork in just water no salt or any spices. Noodles were also plain I could taste nothing . Have you guys tasted your own food? I just can’t believe you guys are serving those noodles in plain water . Thank you . I will try to go again and ask for the same order, hopefully you guys change the recipe.

I walked in with pretty high hopes. The atmosphere and decor are inviting, and the service was genuinely friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the setting. We ordered the combination pho, and honestly—it was the most flavorless broth I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to some pretty questionable pho spots. At least the shrimp spring rolls and Thai tea were decent, but that’s about where the highlights ended.
I can’t speak for the rest of their menu, but do yourself a favor and skip the pho—it’s a letdown, especially for a place called Pho Hut. To make matters worse, the AC clearly wasn’t working, which is brutal in the Bakersfield heat. Great vibes, kind staff, but mid food and stifling air make it hard to recommend.

Me and my husband went to eat there last week on Monday walked in and we were greeted, but for the rest of our visit service was horrible. The waitresses were not attentive to their customers. They were standing up at the counter, laughing and joking with each other. When we would ask them for something they wouldn’t acknowledge us like “did Thank you you need something?” or “can I help you?” Pretty nothing we got the silent treatment also when they would bring us whatever we asked for we would say thank you and they wouldn’t even reply with you’re welcome or anything like that. Didn’t even ask us at the end of our meal if we needed anything else? or how was our food ? nothing just brought us our check and didn’t say a word as we were leaving the girl that took my husband‘s payment gave me the dirtiest look Pho Hut His so unprofessional as far as their employees go.

But the quality of food went down. My fried eggroll was burnt and my pork chops was under cook . It looks good on the picture but the middle is not what I wanted but I heat it up in the pan to make it well done.

I’ve been sitting here for 10 minutes waiting for my waitress to come back and check on me. I was greeted by the rudest lady insisting that I sit at the bar, even tho the place was empty (after the service I see why) and she then continued to walk passed me intentionally not asking if I needed anything, my glass was clearly empty the 10 times she walked by. I’m assuming she’s the owner. Finally the other waitress with glasses came to my table, when she did I seen the owner give her a dirty look. Do yourself a favor and go to the other Pho place 1 minute away in the next parking lot. Trust me.

The wings looked terrible and came out ten minutes after our pho. I bit one and it was as bad as it looked. Completely overcooked and hardly any meat on them. After sending them back to the kitchen another staff came over to say that we would still be charged half price for them and did we still want to eat them… after they had been sent back and sitting in the kitchen for another 5 minutes? No thanks. The pho itself was generally bland. We knew we should have left when we got there and there were no sauces on the table… at a Vietnamese restaurant. Yikes. They were actually out of chili oil and only had store bought sriracha and hoisin sauce. I felt bad for the first server we had bc she was super nice, but the wing situation and lackluster customer service along with the bland noodles was a real disappointment. YOU’LL BE MUCH BETTER OFF AT PHO- VY

first time visit. nice open corner restaurant. Need bright up little bit interior black. My Phở tái chín ok. But the rice noodle seem like instant dry from the bottom.. I need to wait for hot soup soak for 1 minutes.

Veggie pho was flavorful and delicious! The noodles were perfectly cooked. Waiter was very friendly. Me and my husband recently moved up here and have been trying to find our new pho spot out here and this one may be it!
