I love their corn and chicken chowder. It’s usually so tasty and thick. I love it unfortunately this time it seemed more like a hot and sour soup.

One of the few restaurants closed by that was opened on Christmas Day so we decided to give it a try since the rain ruined our BBQ plans.
We had the :
• Fried Oysters were ginormous and fresh. They fried at the moment so it’s perfect. I paired it with the Black Bean Sauce so it was perfect.
• Peking Duck 3 Courses which included Duck Bone Soup was super delicious (perfect for this rainy weather), Duck Meat Chow Mein was a hit for the little cousin (he almost ate the entire dish himself) & Peking Duck was perfectly cooked and tender. All those 3 items for only $59.
• Spareribs with Orange Sauce was perfect balance. The sweetness was not overpowering and the crunchiness of being fried was a nice touch.
• Clams with Black Bean Sauce is always a must order everywhere we go. It was good and the sauce was perfect to drizzle the white rice.
We had other 3 dishes I can’t recall the names but were delicious!
Family owned business with cozy warm dishes. Everything we tried was very good. Service was excellent!

This is my go-to place for reliabily good Chinese food. Been going here for years and its popularity among locals seens to be growing. Portions are good. This very small staff have been working hard for years and provide good service. Great place for takeout which is majority of their business. It is also a popular place for large family in-dining.

I actually live in Texas but my family and I have been dining at China Delights every time we visit my relatives in the East Bay for the last 20 years. We also celebrate special occasions here and they never disappoint. The place is always packed! Our favorites are the honey walnut shrimp , veggie delight and beef chow fun. The food is so delicious that the leftovers maintain their flavors even after several days.

China Delight is my go to for the area. I’ve been going there for over 15 years and it’s the best around. They have great lunch specials as well. It is not as fancy as the expensive places in San Francisco, but other than that it’s great and the food is great.

Love the food but I ordered sweet & sour pork and let me tell you absolutely NO PORK in any of it. The flavor was good the crunchy batter but no pork at all I was so upset

I love the food here. Anytime I go, there’s never a lot of people in there and I usually order ahead and pick it up. The Salt and Pepper fish, Shrimp Chow Mein-Skinny and Honey Walnut prawns are what I usually order.
The area has changed a lot, Longs, the Dive Bar and Wheel works are all closed. Safeway is still there and CD is to the right of it.
